I have two children attending this school. Have been here for seven years. It’s a great school with a great staff. Your child will get a great education both academically and religiously. This school will lay the foundation for the rest of your child’s life.

We are new to St. Joseph the Worker School this year. With no disrespect intended to public schools, St Joseph has provided an incredible overall school experience the public schools do not have. The involvement, participation, activities, sports and religious structure are tremendous. The principal is dedicated to making the school better, the teachers are interested and attentive to their students education and there is a all around family feeling to the school. We are very happy with the communication, structure, support and fun our son is having at St. Joseph the Worker. It is a wonderful investment in our son's future.

I am giving it a 3 instead of a 1 because I hear they are getting a new principal! Hurray!!!! Maybe the school will change to a better place now. Too late for my own children, but good news for the students who are there now.

I attended this school with my brother. I started in kindergarten in the year 1969 and went through to the 4th grade. Do you have any year book pictures of classes from back then, I would love to walk down memory lane. My name was Renee Blackburn then.

There are very caring teachers in this school who make the children feel like a part of a big school family. The academics are very challenging, so don't expect homework or tests to be easy.

The school is not what used to be. Children are graduating not being ready for high school. The school does not have a computer program, children do not write and there are no extra curriculum activities. Teachers are not motivated because of the financial situation of the school. The principal is eighty years old and she does not have a good judgment anymore. There is no leadership. Most parents stay there because they have been in the school for along time. Those parents are often mistreated but its better not to say anything. They pick on children.

This is a wonderful small school, where all the teacher know the children by name. The curriculum is all based on the California Core and my child is so far ahead in academics compared to her peers who go to nearby charter schools. Other parents ask, "Where does she go?" I can proudly say, "St. Joseph the Worker!"

Great school, great teachers. My daughter is in the first grade and she's been there since pre-k. Have no complaints about the teachers. They are all wonderful. Tuition is reasonable and so are the number of volunteer hours. It has only increased by about $10 so far.
