Elementary Science Teacher has Horrible Attitude her Smug Face says it all and She Gossips. Students, Teachers and Administrators are Kind I over heard her saying Bad things about Co Teachers and Administrators please replace the Science Teacher.

My daughter is in the K-6 program, and we're incredibly happy with the Oakwood. The teachers and administrators are extremely competent and thoughtful in how they approach teaching. We love the fact that the school tries to foster an early love for learning that we hope will continue in the years ahead. The classes are small, the attention to the kids individualized, and the community of parents and resources given to the kids are first-rate.

My family has been blown away by our experience thus far. As a Black family, the check list was very different with what we witnessed in the awakening, but this school has truly impressed us by going above and beyond with action as opposed to solely intent. Our family has gotten heavily involved in the short time we have been there, with he intention to get to know the staff, teachers, administration and families and, across the board we have observed a true, unwavering commitment. The best indicator however, is my sons happiness. He is the happiest he has ever been! I have watched him develop in his independence and confidence. I love that they promote kindness and mimic the same commitment to prioritizing compassionate, global citizens that we firmly believe in! They have created a foundation and fostered a true love of learning. This school is everything that it is hyped up to be and more!

My two children are having a fantastic experience at Oakwood. My daughter started in Kindergarten and my son started later in elementary school. We were welcomed to the school by buddy families in each grade and the administration made an effort to really get to know both kids and make them feel welcome and secure. Both kids are happy to go to school every day. They feel that Oakwood makes learning really engaging and interesting. The academics are appropriately challenging and art and science are integrated into homeroom subjects, which gives kids many ways to learn and express their understanding. The school is very communicative at all levels - the administration, teachers and parent organization. Oakwood has a very strong sense of community, and we have made wonderful friends at Oakwood. We are so happy every day that we chose this school.

I have two children at Oakwood, and truly could not be happier with our experience, the staff, and the overall learning environment. My children genuinely love school, and absolutely adore their teachers and the entire faculty. While the academics are phenomenal, the character and confidence building is equally so!

Oakwood School is a welcoming, engaging and amazing community. Our daughter entered at second grade and is already thriving. She was welcomed immediately with buddy groups, connecting to her teacher and visiting the campus in a creative scavenger hunt (COVID protocols so usual start of school had been abbreviated). She's soaked it all in, enjoying all the specialized subjects and hands-on education. The staff is communicative and individualized, we feel really seen and known (even though our experience has been primarily virtual). The teachers are fantastic and motivating - everything feels incredibly individualized and thoughtful. She's especially enjoying music, arts and sciences. There's also a great focus on social-emotional health and identity, not only because of what children endured during the pandemic, but because it is engrained in the school. She's been learning growth mindset, tolerance, about her unique culture, and about other holidays and histories in age-appropriate ways. It's definitely not easy for a child to start a new school masked, and of course we hope for post-pandemic life soon, but given the circumstances it all feels incredibly normal, lively and safe. Would absolutely recommend this school and look forward to many more years with Oakwood.

As parents we take great comfort in the instruction, care and consideration that Oakwood provides through their thoughtful administrative team and dedicated teachers. And our child couldn't be happier or feel more supported. Finding Oakwood and becoming a part of the community has been a real gift for our family.
