These are genuine caring and kind people. The best pre-school you will find. I wish this atmosphere was a normal all around. Difficult to find these days.Forever grateful to Ms Kit and her teachers

We were with BMA for 2 1/2 wonderful years and had the best experience. The care and dedication to our son, his education, his social and emotional well-being was amazing. We definitely could not have gotten through 2020 without them. I believe he not only survived the trying times but thrived because of their care. I would especially like to say that Ms. Jennifer is an phenomenal teacher and person and we are so thankful she is part of our lives. Ms Kit runs an incredible program and I only wish we had found them sooner. Every teacher and person working there made such a positive impact on our whole family.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Burbank Montessori Academy! Both of my sons have gone to this school and attended class with all of the teachers. Mrs Kit runs such an exceptional Montessori school and our family always felt appreciated and cared for. I never worried about my children knowing they were in such great care. The teachers are all so sweet and amazing. I've referred the school to friends and will continue to.

I’m honestly a little embarrassed it’s taken me this long to write a review. My son went to Burbank Montessori Academy for 4 years, and we loved every minute of it. When we first signed up I knew he’d be going to a great school, but I had no idea about the wonderful community that would come along with it. Every single person at BMA, from the director, to the teachers, to the cleaning lady, genuinely love and care about each student. The one good thing about the pandemic was that I got to keep my son at BMA for another year. While other kindergarteners were stuck on zoom, my son thrived in the safe environment that was created for him there. I will forever be thankful for everyone at BMA who were brave enough to stay open and give that opportunity to my son. There is one bad thing about sending your children Burbank Montessori Academy…no other school will ever measure up. Every day I am reminded of this sad truth when I drop my son off at his new school. I wish I could keep him at BMA forever.

Burbank Montessori Academy is a magical place and the best preschool in Burbank. Our son was lucky to be enrolled there from about 2 1/2 years old until he started kindergarten. His development and growth at BMA was incredible. He became a learner, a listener, a friend, and a helper. He got to play hard in their incredible outdoor play yard and get fresh air and exercise every day. He came home happy each day with so many stories of what he learned and how he played. He made great friends. He loved his teachers. If you were to meet him, he would tell you how much he loved his school.As a parent, I felt relief that my son was well taken care of all day, playing and learning. I appreciated the support of experts in child development to help guide us through his growth and development stages. I appreciated the communication from the Director, giving us peeks into daily life and keeping us up to date.Our son ‘graduated’ more than ready for kindergarten. He left with total letter recognition and writing his letters and with early math, knowing his numbers, early addition and subtraction.I highly recommend Burbank Montessori Academy and feel so lucky to have been a part of that community.

Burbank Montessori Academy is an amazing school and I will recommend it to all our friends with children! Our child attended this school for 3.5yrs and we had such a wonderful experience. The teachers and head of the school are so kind and supportive of our child's specific needs and growth. It has been incredible to watch our child grow in confidence and independence. He always came home with knowledge to share and wanted to teach us what he learned! He not only began to excel academically, but also learned so much about the world and his surroundings. The emphasis on nature and outdoor activities as well as art cultivates such a great learning environment. Our child still talks about his teachers daily, even though he's graduated. We've also made lifelong friends from the school - such a great community!

I can't recommend this school enough! Our child was there from age 2 fresh out of diapers until 5.5 when she moved on to kindergarten. The teachers there are kind and supportive and could tell they deeply cared for not just the well being, but happiness and growth of our child. She thrived in the learning environment and is constantly curious and exploring and just knows so many random things not just words/numbers, but about science, planets, animals, society, and the world at large. She constantly came up with great art projects as well. If that is not enough...it is rare to find a pre-school with a great outdoor play area. I always at start/end of the day saw my daughter and all the kids happily playing in the yard which features giant shaded trees, 2 play structures (split by younger/older), but they occasionally switch, they take advantage of the great LA weather and do snack/lunch outside. Lastly it is a great community and both our child and ourselves made amazing kid and family friends in our time there! Highly recommend!

My daughter went to Burbank Montessori Academy for three years, from age three to six. Since we had recently moving to Los Angeles with no friends and no family we were very nervous about the care for our daughter. We soon realized that we had found a wonderfully nurturing environment and a home away from home for her. The teachers are all amazing people who really love what they do and have been working there for 20+ years. They take the Montessori Method seriously and really instill a love for learning. We had a hard time with the fact that our baby was growing up and had to move on to elementary school. I would highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone.

What a great school! My twins have attended for 2.5 years and couldn't be happier. It is also a very international place with teachers from a number of different countries and a student population which is just as global. It is also affordable so there is a good diversity of families. It is essentially an all year round school, with extended hours so it will fit any person's schedule. The teachers are all great and appropriate for each phase/class. The fact that they allow your child to have a diaper and pacifier (in the youngest class) until they're ready to let go says it all. They also are acutely aware of developmental milestones and will tell you if there are any concerns. They all have 25 years plus experience teaching ages 2-5 yrs and are a great resource for parents. It's a great place to start your child's journey in school.

This school is simply wonderful. It gave my daughter outstanding preparation for elementary school, and she had a lot of fun. Parents are involved and the teachers are kind and dedicated. I can't say enough good things about this school-- I am sad that we graduated, but am thrilled that we found this hidden gem for child's preschool experience.

Great school with caring teachers. My daughter spent 3 years here and enjoyed every minute. She couldn't wait to go to school every day and the methods they use work. Every kid in the Kindergarten class was reading at a 1st or 2nd grade level. One of the saddest days ever was when we said goodbye to the school. Highly recommend!
