We Moved to town this past summer and our 3rd grader entered into the memorial school in September. We came froma town with a great school's rating of 8 and we're worried about the scores leicester public schools revived on this site. However, our experience has been great and we have been pleasantly surprised. The memorial School has been a wonderful place for our son. The teachers and office staff are very responsive and friendly. Our son was struggling in our previous district and is doing phenomenal here.

I have both my daughter and son attending school here in Leicester and found the teachers to be caring and helpful. The buildings and play grounds have the small town feel, but still teachers are professional.

The school is difficult when it comes to an IEP for a high functional autistic child with a dual diagnosis. They are forever trying to take away accommodations from my child who is struggling. I still can't understand the grading system. I am not sure how a child gets B's when most of her homework and in school papers come home with D's &F's.

I was disappointed at the 5th grade graduation 2014 that the children with perfect attendance ~ also the children on the honor roll ~ were not recognized.
