Awful! My son who was in pre k was afraid to go potty because he was discouraged from doing so. He would say confecering things. Being a super friendly kid who loved school he was always crying and afraid to go. I met with the his teacher and principal multiple times and left feeling concerned I do not recommend this school. He is doing so much better ever since I switched his school.

It is unfortunate, but my son had a difficult time at this school. His pediatrician gave us a referral called a 504 accommodation which the school ignored. He was also bullied and discouraged from attending classes. Therefore, I do not recommend this school.

My Daughters Dyslexia was caught very early in the first grade and she was immediately taught skills to help her manage her learning differences. The Dyslexia team at Jim Plain was top notch I seriously couldn't have asked for a better team. Mrs. Kristi Deshazo was Amazing! She not only taught my daughter how to navigate her differences but to also speak up for herself and ask for her accommodations if needed.

My son attends kindergarten at Jim Plain. The administration and staff are great, his teacher and all other teachers I've met are fantastic. They truly care about each child as an individual. In a day and age of standardized testing and pushing for metrics, it's great to see how many students love their teachers.

We have always had great experiences with Plain's teachers and administration. My son started in second grade at Plain and is now in fifth. Through the years situations have come about, as they do any time you have numbers of kids together. Principal Crisp is a wonderful caring and involved administrator. She was able to meet with me any time I had concerns about my son. The same is true for the counselors and assistant principals.

My son is currently attending Plain Elementary and we love it. His Pre-K teacher was engaging and set the tone for his school years. His kinder teacher last year was the BEST teacher ever. I almost hated to see my son move up. Her class was fun, exciting, and she was always ready to talk to me and help with my concerns. This year he is in 1st and his teacher is always ready to help, she responds to emails and notes, and had helped me find out if my son has a learning disability. I'm looking forward to him attending next year.

no lesson plans for parent volunteer of a Kinder class for the poor substitute. Really shocked, looking at other schools.
