I have three children who have attended Pleasant Hill. This is our 8th year of having at least one child there. Overall Pleasant Hill is great. Two of my children have received extra services and testing for disabilities and I’ve been very happy with the staff and how they’ve helped my students with these hurdles. Very happy to be at Pleasant Hill.

We have been at PHE for almost 2 years. We came in at the very end of the school year and have since completed a year and started 2018/2019. My oldest had a good experience overall and went on to middle school with some great friends. My middle child is there in the 2nd grade now. His teachers have been awesome at being understanding of his difficulties and letting me know what goes on with him at school. The counselor has also made a big difference in teaching him how to deal with his anxiety. Front office staff is amazing and everyone is friendly and helpful. The school is great!

We love PHE! Our son is in 4th grade and has attended since 1st grade. We have had excellent teachers every single year, the front office staff knows us by name. Our son is thriving here and I would highly recommend this school.

Overall we are very happy with PHE. If the principal could be replaced with one that was effective it would be 5 stars

We have had an amazing experience at PHE! It is like a family and they want the best for each and every student. It has been a blessing to our family.

My child has had the best experiences at Pleasant Hill. The staff and administrators are extremely friendly and helpful. It's a very welcoming campus.

It costs approximately $3,000 to privately test a child for a learning disability. As much as we'd like to have the testing done, we can't afford it and Pleasant Hill Elementary refuses to do it. Apparently, when a child is identified as having a learning disability, teachers must create an alternative learning plan for that child and it's a lot of work. This school refused to do the testing and I think this may be why.

Moving to get my child out of this school if that says anything. It has gone down hill since Koller left and is leaking any decent staff they had left. The old reviews with 5 stars are for a school that no longer exists. Avoid if you can.

Amazing School, Mr Koller is the best principal I have ever seen. You can tell that every day he really cares for the kids and excited to do his job. Teachers so far have been top notch. Mrs. Bailey kindergarten was amazing, the kids learned at an amazing rate and had fun doing it.

We absolutely love this cool school! Mr Koller rocks this campus everyday! The teachers are amazing. My daughter first moved here in the first grade, not knowing how to read. With the teachers and staff hard work, my now 3rd grader is above her reading level and loves to read! PTA is awesome!

Mark Koller is a top notch principal that goes above and beyond to address any parental concerns, and to make the students of this school feel excited about going to school and belonging to Pleasant Hill. We were rezoned this year to his school from a much higher ranked elementary school on this site- and Mark and his staff went above and beyond making our kids and parents feel welcomed and excited about the change. We have already had concerns about the bus route after the first day of school- and Mark Koller rode the bus home with the students the 2nd day of school! Changes were then made and implemented the 3rd day. This speaks volumes to the character and leadership that the students of this school are under. My two kids have attended well over 8 schools between them, and there is no other school I or my son have been more excited to be part of. The leadership, staff, and environment of this school are heads and shoulders above others in the district!

Pleasant Hill is a great school. As you can see by the reviews/ratings, people are much happier with it than the GreatSchools rating shows. Our oldest child went there K-5 and excelled there and beyond in Middle School and our youngest is there now and is a part of the Quest program. We had one questionable teacher in all those years, but teacher is no longer there.

My grandson went to school here. We moved him to Georgetown District. His father was not impressed with the principal or with the teachers.

I have two kids that go to this school and love it. The teacher's and staff are friendly and really care about the kids. I like that they have the quest program at this school because my daughter really enjoys it. The community is wonderful and quiet.

This is a good school with active parents and teachers who really seem to put in the extra effort. It's with great relief that my child with minor special needs has found a place to be encouraged, be motivated and be given needed confidence.

This school is great! My two daughters are fortunate to have such a great place to begin their education. The teachers and staff are focused on getting kids to perform to their maximum potential.

I think we lucked into this school when we moved here. At the time we moved to Leander we didn't have kids in school, and now we have three! PHE has devoted staff. I've heard other parents at other schools complain about poor communication and lack of parent support. That is NOT the case at PHE. They seem to really have their act together and have parents in their corner.
