This school is absolutely amazing. It genuinely is the school my child can call a safe space. they are so welcoming, their teaching is amazing, the staff is so understanding and communicates well!!

Most of the teachers are nice and the other teachers get in trouble over the smallest things. but the worst thing is most of the food is never cooked raw and the milk is like a year expired and kids are getting sick and throwing up.

What an amazing school! The teachers are fantastic. My daughter graduated from here this year and she is a better child because of her experience.

This school has a very responsive staff and are always working towards helping each student meet his/her potential. There is also a very strong sense of community. I have had an overall positive experience at Taylor Elementary.

I love this school and the community surrounding it. I have seen this community uplift each other during trying times and celebrate each other during joyful times. I love seeing how the school celebrates all the cultures and diversity from the staff and students. My son has attended since kindergarten and now my daughter will be too. So far I have had great communication with their teachers and have seen tremendous growth in both of my kids. The administration is wonderful at providing necessary information and I even enjoy reading updates form the principal's weekly newsletter.

This school is very inclusive and respects students of different cultures. Teaching is rigorous, but lots of small group instruction for my child. When I have issues, office staff and administration listen, show respect, and value parent input. Overall, I am thrilled with the growth I've seen in my child since we have moved to the area.

I have 2 children at this school and we absolutely adore the staff and students! This school challenges our students but meets them where they are at! They have a diverse population and they celebrate the differences in each student. The staff truly care about the students and make learning fun! The administrators are fair and have the best in mind for their staff and students!

From the second I walk into the school I can feel the welcoming environment. They are very helpful with anything I may need, and teachers always make an effort to smile at me even through their masks.

I am very pleased with this school. They have done an amazing job with COVID. They have put many things in place to supports students and parents. I highly recommend this school.

I’m very involved at my children’s school, so I love the welcoming environment for parents, the diversity between students, staff, and the administrators, and the overall feeling of family inclusion. My son will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall so I’m looking forward to watching him excel as much as my daughter has at Taylor.

Our time at Taylor is best described as frustrating. We've had some great teachers, and some good teachers, but overall the principal is bringing the school down.

This has mot been a good experience. If you are looking to move, you want to choose a different GCPS school zone, if possible.

The teachers do not communicate information. My son's teacher's refused to inform me about testing dates. She did not put it on eclass or in remind.

I'm not particularly pleased with this school. My daughter is in a language based class. You would think they would have the patience required and the skills to teach her the vocabulary. Not only teach her but give her a basic understanding of how to use it. I find the teachers get frustrated with her for not knowing instinctually what needs to be taught to her. That is the whole reason she is in the program. Absolutely poor... I'm looking for an other alternative after this year.

Front office lady is very rude. I daughter is currently attending this school. She is the car rider. Today, my car was broken. I came to the front office to ask for picking up my child at the front and walk her home. A parent behind me was asking for the same thing as me. The front office lady helped the the lady behind me first. The class was almost dismiss. I remind her to help me. She speaks to me rudely and loudly that she still very busy to help me. She said I have to wait. My daughter said that she was rude to her, too when she was in the front office asking for some papers for friday folders. Teachers are very nice.
