I came from a school where teachers simply were there for a paycheck, students were invisible if they didn't play a sport or have a 4.0 average, and multiple fights broke out on a daily basis. I only went to Phoenix for a short time, but in that time gained friendships with students and staff that are still strong today, 11 years later, also took a 2.3 GPA and not only did I graduate a year later with a 3.1 GPA but was given the opportunity to be the closing speaker at my graduation. I proudly tell people that I am a Phoenix High School graduate and making the decision to leave my former school to attend Phoenix was the best decision ever.

I graduated from Phoenix in 1999. I am so grateful for my experience there. I had teachers who I felt really cared about me and preparing me for adulthood. I felt respected and encouraged. With the help of the counselors and staff at the school, I was encouraged to apply to college. It is questionable whether I would have done so without them. I went to GSU where I majored in history, graduating with a 4.0. From there, I went to law school at UGA, graduating in 2007. I’ve now been a proud public defender since 2008. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This school is nothing but excellent, its main focus is the future for the students. They keep it nice and clean, and is very disciplined. The safety for the students is outstanding. All the staff have the right to enforce discipline towards students that do not meet regulations. The teachers are amazing and very helpful towards the student body. I graduated here, and it was the best decision I had made. This school really changed my life.

Awesome school! I graduated in 2005 and loved everything about it! The teachers were amazing, straight to the point. My GPA improved so much once I switched to Phoenix!
