If you're child is struggling in a public school, this is the place to go. Our son went from being stressed and defeated to happy and confident again. He misses school ove the summer. We love Gerard Prep

-15 out of 0-10. Your children deserve better. Please do not enroll them here.

On a scale of 1-10 this school is a 15. I cannot say enough great things about Gerard and how much of a blessing it has been to be able to see our son grow to love school and embrace his education. Thank you Gerard and Mrs. Sinclair for giving us the answer to our prayers and the hope that our son will no longer feel unstable in public school. You have embraced him and our family in a way I have prayed for many years.

I have had my children in this school for three years and they are thriving. We know the staff and administration cares about every child, however it is not perfect for every child or family. We are fortunate we have found our school home, and we love it.

The entire administration is Uncaring and Irresponsible.

The experience was horrible. After removing my children from this school, they were behind in every subject. It was truly a wasted year. Beware of the positive reviews. Sinclair preys on minority parents who do not have the educational background and who are impress with being able to say my child is in private school. She is not teaching the children anything of substance to be able to get into a 4 year institution. If you have a child on the spectrum who needs a slower paced environment this is the perfect school. If you can deal with the monthly teacher turn-around. If you have children who you envisioned will be going to college, do not even think about this school.

Terrible. Where do I start? The leadership says one thing and does another. The owner makes everything about herself and is extremely defensive with any issues parents have. The turnover rate of the employees is disgraceful yet the leadership sees nothing wrong because she's "been doing this for over 30 years." The only teacher to return every year is the owner's daughter. The owner sees this as her retirement money and is extremely self-centered.

Excellent! They are not perfect for everyone, however they do all they can to provide opportunities for everyone to see what their best effort looks like.

Very unorganized, non-professional, not trained in "special needs"

Progress reports came home few weeks ago and both of my children were so excited to see their hard work and support from their school. I am very pleased with the school year this far and can hardly wait for more to come! THANK YOU GPS teachers and staff for going the extra mile!

The "horrible" feedback spanning as far back as 7 years ago (thanks to technology that did not reach back 30 years ago, which might have alerted others beforehand) cannot possibly be from the same parent(s), as they would have learned their lesson before sending additional children to attend this school.... This is a forum for ALL experiences, whether good or bad, and it is completely obvious when "horn-tooting" is going on, whether by parents, teachers, admin, or "anonymous" posts...just do your best, and let God handle the rest, as the truth ALWAYS inevitably prevails, exposing obvious patterns and defensiveness! Our experience with this school has not proven to be in the best interest of our child, but regardless, everyone is accountable for their actions or INACTION, which will have to be answered for by ALL participating parties accountable for the outcome, but by the same token, our experience is truthful and can be proven beyond the shadow of a doubt! We seek only to inform, not condemn, as that job is beyond our scope and not subject to our meager input, but the proof and truth always eventually surfaces! We are only accountable to GOD! So there it is...

We as parents at Gerard do not know who continues to try to give horrible feed back about our school, but we sincerely wish you would stop. What is said is not true and is highly inflammatory. If you were unhappy at our school, then we are glad you decided to leave, but please don't threaten a school that we love. Thank you.

Over 30 years tried and true... A school can't be around that long and have it's graduates come back to visit if it's not a great school. This is a great school. I graduated and went on to Indiana Wesleyan University where I am finishing my courses to become a Pastor. The seeds planted in morning chapel and the loving mentor teachers impacted my life then and will continue to do so in the future. I am proud to be a former student of Gerard.

Very disappointing school and such a waste of taxpayer money with the SB10 voucher program. Teacher turnover is < 1 year. Student turnover is < 2 years. Read between the lines with all the 5 star reviews inundated with exclamation points.

What do I think others should know about Gerard? The leadership is inept ad highly disorganized on many levels. Teacher turnover is through the roof (and it's not because their salaries are too low like their story goes). The leadership does a disservice to the Christian and educational community we live in.

Gerard Prep. has capable and caring administration and staff. My son attended this school. He went on to attend UT and later Boston College, where he earned his Masters degree in Education. I am proud of him and so thankful for his time at GPS.

After years of struggling in public school, we enrolled our sons at GPS. Failing grades became passing grades and dreading school each day was replaced with looking forward to each day. We have been blessed with attending this school for five years now and our eldest graduated this year. Not only have our sons become successful academically, they have grown as Christians.

Gerard has been a blessing for its students, providing a small classroom environment that not only builds academic skills, but also character and confidence. Students who have fallen behind in their academic skills are given the one-on-one attention they need to grow and rebuild their knowledge base. I truly believe in this school and its continued success in its students!
