Cordley has a wonderful community of families who are very involved in the school. It's a neighborhood school with a neighborly feeling, great teachers (especially kindergarten, when children get their first impression of school in general) and a newly renovated building. We love that our kids get to go to Cordley and wouldn't want them going anywhere else.

Truly a neighborhood school but with high-caliber education and resources. Diverse in all ways, lots of school-wide events that involve parents and families. More than half the students walk to school, making it feel like a true community. Cordley was completely renovated and expanded in 2015. It is still a tight-knit community of parents and teachers, but now there is a bigger, high-tech facility right in the neighborhood.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Cordley! Our children love it, have been very successful in the classroom and in the school community, and the Boys & Girls Club program is fantastic. Super diverse school in terms of cultures, but is truly a family. The staff are excellent, caring and know all of the children. There are many opportunities for parents to be involved and several school-wide events in which the entire family can participate. Community service is emphasized as is respect for all students and community members. My children learn and grow each day, not only academically, but as responsible, caring citizens.

Cordley Elementary is a wonderful school. The sense of community and openness is one of the best parts. Not to mention the outstanding teachers who are amazing!

Cordley is a wonderful school! It's very diverse with a knowledgable and caring staff. The principal is very hands-on and visible daily. Parents are extremely involved in the community as well as the school. There's nothing like a good neighborhood school, and Cordley is the best one around.
