I think Ms. Hite is a wonderful teacher, they are very informative however the new location is a hike. Maybe they should consider changing the time. to 8:00 and 8:15 for late time. They need more activities for the smaller children.

The vision for this school is excellent, however, due to a lack of funding, the students suffered. This school offers music, yet there is no consistant music teacher. There were subs in and out of the class all year. The fourth grade English teacher was awesome, very capable and went above and beyond for the kids. She had them doing Shakespeare plays. The third grade teacher, Mrs. Pryce is a gem! There is an over abundance of female teachers and staff at the school and the lack of male energy is obvious in the misbehavior of the students. They added middle school grades but were not prepared for the need for discipline. The prinicipal was the strongest they have had in three years, so I think they are headed in the right direction. I cannot stick around to find out. My middle child was bullied all year long and ended the year in fights on the playground. My oldest child had a great experience for four years because she was placed with the strongest teachers. This school isn't the worst, the front office staff is very friendly, but I need my kids to be challenged and its not happening here.
