My son and I just relocated from Michigan and it was intimidating finding a new school for my three year, just because of how large Maryland is. I'm so glad I found this school because my son is learning very fast. They use a Christian based curriculum, so my son is learning Bible facts as well as learning to write his name. He is learning sign language as well. The school itself is very active with the parents, facilitating several activities for parents. With reinforcement at home, my son is also reading level one books. The staff are great and very attentive. It was a great decision for me.

Why would this "christian" school give parents only two weeks notice that it is no longer taking infants. Don't these so called christian owners know that it takes parents more than two weeks to find suitable child care? Are they refunding part of the money that covers the periord after they no longer take infants. What is the real story behind this because my son picked up the child and the teachers don't know what is going on. All I can say is that God is not pleased and this does not show good stewartship on the part of the owners. The parents of infants should cancel their checks.

My son started at Genesis at 12 weeks old and remained there 7 months until we changed daycares due to a move. We were very sorry to leave. The staff in the infant/toddler room as well as the rest of the facility were very attentive. I always felt my son was receivng love and attention and was being stimulated. I was impressed with the learning that appeared to be taking placed that was showcased in programs the school put on. The director was great. She demonstrated that she genuinely loved and cared about the children. After having now experiened other daycare programs since moving, we have yet to find a program that we loved as much as Genesis. If you are looking for a place were you can feel comfortable that your child is safe, loved and being stimulated and educated, I would definitely check out Genesis.

My daughter attended Genesis as a baby. She learned so much by attending the school. By 3 years old she was reading good. At 5 years old she is reading chapter books. I took my child out of Genesis to attend Pre-K in a public school. Pre-K in public school is like daycare. My child didnt learn a thing. They were teaching the kids what my child learned at genesis when she was 1 years old. Genesis made her far advance. The staff is also friendly.
