My wife and I are both physicians in the AV. Education is therefore very important to us. When we relocated to the Antelope Valley were directly referred to Bethel by my colleagues. Both children have since graduated and are successful people. In summary, solid education and caring staff.

Teachers really care about the students, and they teach the way the individual student learns. They take time with your child! Average classroom size is 20 and has the teacher and a teacher assistant. My son gets all the help he needs! His teacher even tutored him on her time when he was falling behind in phonics and we couldn't find an afterschool tutor. This is the best school! We love Bethel Christian in Lancaster, CA

Bethel does a phenomenal job of sharing the gospel to those who believe and those who don't---what a beautiful obedience that Jesus commands believers do! Therefore, I am dishearted to read that a school which accepts non-Christians shouldn't be called a "Christian School." Welcome ALL people!!Bethel has a college prep curriculum, so, of course, academics are more challenging; however, the workload is not immense! My child has been given extra credit AND has re-taken tests---not true that those options are unavailable. My child is getting an excellent education, learning about God's word, and is being taught by teachers who care. Working with children/teenagers is CHALLENGING and I know my child isn't perfect! Great school. Thank you Bethel for all you do!

Wish I could give them a 0 Star. Save your time, money and health by looking for another school because Bethel Christian will only make you very disappointed and stress your child. This school needs to change some teachers they are too old fashioned and have No patience for children. They claim to be Christian but act completely the opposite. They accept all kinds of people that are not even Christian to the school. So why call It a Christian school? your child will learn about drugs,sex and why some kids have 2 moms or 2 dads at an early age. They are always, always!!!!!!! asking for money on top of the expensive tuition you have to pay. I wish someone would of told me about this school before wasting thousands and thousands of dollars in Tuition. Do your child and your family a huge favor and look elsewhere.

Do not send your kids to this school. The teachers do not work with parents. They do not allow extra credit or test retakes. Elementary administrator is rude and hangs up the phone on parents. Teachers and administrators also show favoritism towards particular students. I agree that the school stresses out children. Save your money and go elsewhere. Not worth it.

Bethel provides an excellent education for its students. The teachers are warm and caring, the staff is responsive and available when there are questions and the children are challenged academically and spiritually. My children are being well-prepared for a university education.

Good for Preschool and Kindergarten. 2nd grade and up school facilities are old and dark, small Classrooms and old textbooks.

I'm very pleased with the results I've seen. My children's teachers are very informative and flexible to the children's needs. If you want a quality education BCS is the best choice in the AV!!

I highly recommend Bethel especially parents with preschoolers. If you want your child to have good educational and good faith foundation, bring them to Bethel. If you are paying for babysitting before and after school, then just pick Bethel. All your money is worth it. To see your child learn how to read, write, and do phonics at age 3 is amazing. As a single working mom raising 3 kids, I am pleased and very grateful that my children are sheltered, cared for, and taught in a good environment each day 12 hours a day Monday to Friday. Bethel provides child care from 6am till school starts and from 3:30 pm till 6pm. As a parent who commutes to work, this schedule is great. The staffs during day care also encourages the children to do their homework and assist them when needed help. The staffs and teachers work with each child and make sure each child learns. "No kid left behind". They are flexible and very strategic with their curriculum. They are very knowledgeable and the children learn structure, discipline, respect, and order. They also learn leadership skills, mentoring skills, accountability, integrity, and be good role models for the younger kids. Good quality.

If you are looking for a place to prepare your kids for the future: Have them form strong Study Habits, learn Tolerance and Respect, be Good Citizen, and establish Excellent Academic Foundation, Bethel Christian School in Lancaster is the place. I am not Christian and I had three of my kids attend the school. The result: my wife and I are very pleased. My 20 years old, who is college student now, still remember her teachers and appreciate everything they taught her. The school has excellent curriculum and very experienced and well respected teachers. My advice to the parent who are expecting to push the teachers around and dictate how the school should teach and deal with the kids, they better go to public school and become PTA members where they can have their way there. BCS means: Excellent School, Superb Staff, and Outstanding Teachers.

My son has been attending Bethel for 3 years now and the experience has been great. Not only is the academics strong but the foundation, based upon faith and our children being gifts are unparalleled. Most teachers care a great deal about our gifts and the administration is a delight. Issues are addressed and parents are not only acknowledged but listened to. My son has a full understanding of himself as a child of God and a student of the school, with a balanced focus on spritusl, character, and educational growth. My sons 1st grade teacher, whom unfortunately is no longer teaching there, had a lasting impact on his and our families life. She took to him with attentiveness and care like he was her own. We are glad to have made the decision to attend Bethel three years ago, are proud Bethel parents, and look forward to my daughter's attendance next year, as a preschooler. Also noteworthy and appreciated is the extensive, allowable parent involvement. I am able to participate, recommend, and inquiry as often as I like and that is appreciated--a BIG difference from public school experience where you can barely walk on the campus. Bethel is worth a visit...

We'v e had our two kids in this school for 5 years. Overall, the academic level is very good. The curriculum is extremely well-organized, and the faculty and administration are caring and competent. We are very pleased with our kids' intellectual development. Finally, an added bonus is that this school will not put up with habitually disruptive students. They are simply asked to go elsewhere. And that's really what we're paying for. Nearly every student, supported by their family, is there primarily for one reason: To learn as much as possible. It's working.

This was the worst school I could have ever attended. Parents if your child ever comes to you and tell you negative things about their teacher its probably true, thankfully my parents believed me after so many incidences of being treated unfair and all most suspended over a teacher being rude and disrespectful to me that my parents where able to see the wolves in sheep's clothing and pulled me right out...to bad they could not get their money back. i am not saying all the teachers and staff are but Its very few that are good and nice. I am now a successful college student, I learned at this school what fake Christians are all about.

Bethel Christian School is a small yet nice school with wonderful teachers that start to imply the word of the Lord to children at a very young age. My daughter and I love this school.

We love it! We found this school online when we moved 4 years ago to Lancaster. Their website invited us to tour the campus - and that's what we did. We met friendly office staff, teachers, and a top Christian curriculum. We have referred a bunch of our co-workers. :)

Bethel took care of my family's educational needs. Both of my children went to Bethel from Kindergarten through high school. They both graduated from BCS. My eldest son went to USC and earned his M.A. while my daughter is currently pursuing a B.A. in Biology (Pre-Med). Nice principal and caring staff.... safe.... personal attention...and much love and care for your family.

I used to attend this school and found out instantly that the teachers are very condescending and hypocritical (at times). The main principle is very nice and receptive if you can get passed the assistant principle/staff to talk to him who are not at all receptive. The kids were very easy going and it was somewhat easy to make friends although there is a lot of drama especially in the 6th-8th grade.. not so much HS because no on is left. I cant say I ever enjoyed any of my time there. Every since I left my school years were allot more eventful and fun and I actually enjoyed my teachers classes.
