The community as a whole is welcoming, the principal and teachers are top-notch, and we feel lucky our daughter attends this school.

Better than I could have dreamed of. My oldest started at HVE in 2011 and I have been blown away by the quality of the school. Teachers are fantastic - smart, caring, experienced, supportive and they truly assess each child and provide individualized instruction. The administration is open to feedback and innovative; early adopter of Core as an example. I've had some issues over the years - I have always felt I could raise those issues and that they were addressed. HVE is a very warm community and I feel very lucky to have my kids spend their early school years here.

We moved from private school to HVE and the school has more than exceeded our expectations. Warm teachers, academic excellence in a nurturing environment and a focus on character. Better than most private schools, and well worth the move. The town is a throw back to the old days of community and caring and we love it so much.

We are new kindergardener parents, and the experience thus far has been amazing. The school has a warm, welcoming environment, the administration and teachers are very passionate about their jobs and care about every student, and our daughter seems to be thriving. The fellow parents are also very involved and everyone contributes in one way or another. Happy Valley is a really wonderful place!

The Lafayette schools are just the best of the worst as far as public schools...save your money, buy a less expensive house and invest in a private school education. Your kids will thank you and you won't have to deal with the attitude public school teachers and administrators give you. The best decision we ever made was to leave!
