I also thrilled to share my outstanding experience with Bentley School, particularly under the exceptional leadership of Head of School Christie Skillicorn Moncharmont and Upper School Director Mr. Nicholas Pukstas. The current administration has truly elevated the school's standards, streamlining processes and communication.As a parent, I appreciate the seamless flow of information, which keeps me informed without feeling overwhelmed. The faculty, administration, and parents all seem to be working in harmony, creating a supportive and inclusive community.The academic programs, extracurricular opportunities, and character development initiatives are all top-notch. My child is thriving in this environment, and I'm grateful for the dedication and expertise of the Bentley team.If you're considering Bentley School, I highly recommend it. The current administration has made a significant positive impact, and I'm excited to see the school's continued growth and success!

Our son started in 9th grade at Bentley's upper school and it's been a fabulous experience. Even though he did not know anyone on the first day, he made friends very quickly. His teachers are amazing - all of them - and the administration is incredible. The focus is on learning (rather than grades) and they take mental well-being seriously. There's built in time during the school day to get caught up on homework or meet 1:1 with teachers to get more individualized help. The classes are small and my kid feels known, seen, appreciated and championed. The curriculum is challenging and fully integrated - meaning the way he is learning to write and analyze texts in English is the same as it is in History. The math and science teachers all collaborate to ensure there is consistency and continuity in those curriculums, as well. We live in Oakland and the commute has honestly been a non-issue. There are lots of carpools (many families live in Oakland and Berkeley) plus a bus. We highly recommend!!
