I hate it, honestly if you have the option, homeschool your children or send them to another school, I once "tripped" my friend and after multiple eyewitnesses and both me and my friend saying I didn't trip her, I still had to serve and after school detention and received a referral, as well as the friend who was "tripped". I go to therapy because of this school, 1/10 would not recomend.

When I went to this school I was beaten up in gym by 10 other kids. Later that same day i was pulled away by the vice principal and told it was all my fault and they would be putting on my permanent record that i was the one attacking them. I had bruises all over me. But that horrendous vp wanted to ruin my life. This is not a safe school and your children will either get hurt or killed and the staff will do nothing to help. They do nothing about the way the kids act and it has a culture of violence. This school makes a federal prison seem like a safe daycare. They will not help your kid and your kid will not learn because they will be too busy getting iss for being a victim or just too busy being beat up by the group of kids that are probably forming gangs within the school itself

Administration has their priorities mixed up. Not to mention the lack of communication administration has with parents when an incident occurs. If this is your home school look elsewhere.

Chapa middle school is a very well school for young kids. The school will turn your young kids to and adult.

The principal makes so many rules to restrict us. You can't stand up or use your phone during lunch. Some of the teachers don't care about students.

Terrible and embarrassing to the city of Kyle. They won't address a bullying issue. I had to pull my child out of this school.

If I had known the issues I would have sold my house and purchased one with a better school.

I love Chapa and all the students that attend. There are some challenging students in the mix, however, 95% of the student body are amazing, brilliant, talented young boys and girls. It is an excellent school that focuses on building character and providing students opportunities to find their gifts.

This School is terrible, there is grade curves on final tests where kids who can get a 50% end up with an 89 when curved so everyone passes, and the dance teacher/cheer coach violates students privacy rights while flasley discussing the matter crying with other students present Also the dance teacher/cheer coach , as some girls call it has Mini breakdowns during classes and makes the kids uncomfortable.

Besides the fact you can have a teacher who violates FERPA laws still has a job blows my mind. I guess some people think it's ok to brake laws.

The bullying at this school is the worst!!! I'm so grateful that I was only there for 1 year. I could never get anything done in that school because I was under constant fear and stress. I would have to call home during lunch, crying and begging my parents to come and get me. I almost became suicidal. I can easily say that this school left a huge impression on my life...and not a good one. The staff are NO help, and some are bullies themselves. Before coming to this school, I was a 4.0 student that all the teachers loved. Here, I was given detention for going to the nurse due to health issues I was having, even though I had a NOTE saying I could not do certain P.E. excersises. The coach ripped up the note and gave me detention. If you love your children, PLEASE don't send them to this school.

Bullied by the students and most importantly some of the administrators. So upset, will be reporting this. You guys are the reason why young girls and boys stop following their dreams. You would rather tell them that they're "nothing" based on their background. Ill tell you that I work my a** off to feed my children and to hear this from them breaks my heart. I already transferred them to Barton middle school. I'm happy to say that my children are happy and so am I. WORST SCHOOL EVER.

This is easily the worst middle school I have ever seen. The administration complicates things unnecessarily, they do not work with either students or parents, the student body populace is disrespectful and unregulated, and the quality of education is really low. They will take you and your child from hopeful to unmotivated and change your perspective on life. If you have a choice do not send your child here.

Chapa is not a very good school for kids who want to live there dreams. Every where you go in there you can't go anywhere without hearing a cuss word. Even some teachers say cuss words. Even they say it's the best school in the universe, it's all a lie it's not! From a kid from Chapa Middle School.
