The principal is HORRIBLE! She doesn't relate to the kids at all, she isn't friendly to the kids, & she is not open minded at all. People on the PTO don't want to go to meetings because she is there. Huge difference from a principal that the kids enjoyed and respected to one that is more worried about be friends with staff compared to what is best for the kids. I am afraid that they will loose good teachers who want the best for the kids because of the principal's conduct.

The teachers and principal, as well as the support staff, do everything they can to teach the students behavior expectations in all the various activities throughout a school day. They have celebration assemblies each month to recognize student achievement and school progress. The excitement and energy projected by the principal and staff is palpable and contagious. Teachers work very hard to get students what they need to learn and are willing to adjust and change when needed. Staff are responsive to the wishes of parents and communicate frequently about student progress.

I think it all comes from the top. The new principal seems more worried about making her name known than about the kids. She has no compassion for the kids and doesn't even relate to them. Expectations of the kids are to all be the same and fit into a perfect mold. No longer caring for the child but more about state funding.
