"Unfortunately, my experience at Holmen Middle School fell far short of expectations. From lackluster teaching to an outdated curriculum, the school seemed stuck in a time warp. The facilities were in dire need of renovation, with cramped classrooms and facilities that were hardly conducive to learning. The administration appeared detached and uninterested in the well-being of students, with little effort put into addressing concerns or fostering a positive environment. Bullying was rampant, and it felt like there was little support available for those who were struggling.Academically, the bar was set disappointingly low, leaving students unprepared for the challenges they would face in high school and beyond. There was a notable absence of extracurricular activities or enrichment programs, depriving students of opportunities to explore their interests and talents outside of the classroom.Overall, my time at Holmen Middle School was a forgettable experience marred by subpar education, inadequate support, and a general lack of enthusiasm from staff. I wouldn't recommend it to any student or parent looking for a quality middle school education."

This school is not very good because the lunch they give is a soggy piece of junk food. I would recommend for them to just tare the whole school down and rebuild it modern and have real food businesses in it. It needs to be cleaned so badly and remolded.

I've been here for almost 3 years and every one of them there has been harassment. Every day is torcher and I dreaded every day of it. I wish I could rate this school a zero. The teachers have regard for students' time or mental health. They give unreusable amounts of homework and it doesn't help with work. This school gave me severe anxiety and I'm now on medication. This is not a good school if you send your kids here be ready for hundreds of dollars worth of therapy, medication, fights with insurance, and years of trauma. If you can go somewhere else this school is full of snobby white people.

This school downright broke me. I went here for 3 years and absolutely dreaded every second of it. For one, students have absolutely no say in anything. There's so many rules that we have to follow that don't even make any sense. If you ask any questions regarding these rules, you're being "disrespectful." Well, respect is supposed to be mutual. Most of these teachers have no respect whatsoever for the students. I felt less than human at this school. I was treated like a toddler. As if Middle School students don't have their own opinions and feelings. I had to talk to the principle once because I walked around a certain table on accident when getting up to get lunch. I didn't eat lunch for the rest of that year just to avoid the snarky teacher that supervises there. Some people may think I'm being dramatic, but I was a young and confused teenager who just needed to feel like someone cared about them. Avoid this school at all costs, unless you enjoy being humiliated, ignored, and controlled. Please do not send your child here.

So disappointed that kids can't be kids anymore. They need to be robots that the principal and vice principal approve of. Nothing genuine at this school at all. It is a business looking out for their bottom dollar and that is it.

Teachers are good but administrators are close minded bullies.
