- Submitted by parent on October 30, 2019Our son and daughter attended Advantages for 2 years. In the end it became a nightmare for my son. The teacher was only available 2 hours a week and never really answered questions to problems he had, and if she did it took over a day, so he was left very often being unproductive and not doing work hours at a time. Then they accused him of plagiarism for chemistry lab work that was actually part of the dry lab already completed and printed out, but they insisted it was the teacher answer keys. Like we have access to this? The course work was relatively boring and we felt they were not learning a they should. Now we are at Laurel Springs, yes more money but oh so much worth it for the schooling is more interactive and he is really enjoying it more than the monotone voice they put in the programs at Advantages. It is run like a dictatorship.....
