We adore this school. The principal and staff are attentive and ready to help in any way possible. Feels like a real elementary school. They truly want to make elementary school a great experience for the kids. From the holiday fairs and celebrations, to the color run, to the fall festival, everything is so fun and down to earth. There is nothing pretentious about it and that is what makes it feel like home. It is just a good little school who puts the kids first always.

I wouldn’t even given it a one star, but that was the only way I could leave this review. This is the WORST!!!! School district. In the whole state of Colorado. The bulling started when my daughter was in fifth grade at Henderson. The administration (principal and vice principal) didn’t want to punish the one that was causing the problem, so they made my daughter out to be the problem and also with them going onto 6th grade that wasn’t there problem anymore. Thank god covid happened so my daughter could relax for a few. Then when it started back up again at Stewart. The “new principal and vice principal” were to preoccupied on letting everyone know that the got a pay raise to let all of this start over again. Now it has come to the best decision (and yours too) to remove my daughter from this horrible school district.

Moved out here in 2012, Henderson elementary was a breath of fresh air after our experience with teaching staff at Centennial elementary and SkyView elementary. Brighton 27J all around better school district.

My daughter is a kindergarten at Henderson. She has an amazing Teacher who has always gone above and beyond to address in concerns I’ve had with my child. The principal of this school is always really involved and hands on, and really cares about the education of all his students.

School resources are extremely limited. The school is located very close to a train and a heavy semi-traffic area. The front desk staff is not friendly and some of the teachers don't know how to handle the students.

Both my daughters have enjoyed Henderson. Very pleased with the teachers they had and what they were able to learn. it's a small school, and very welcoming!

My son will start 3rd grade in the Fall, and I have been very pleased with his progress. His teachers have been great, most importantly supportive & attentive to his needs as an individual! He absolutely feels more confident, enjoys going to school, and loves the environment. In addition, the after school program/care is superb!!!

This school is amazing! My daughter has been attending since K and is now in 2nd grade. She is reading at a 4th grade level and she is already learning multiplication. The administration, teachers, and staff are all very nice and willing to work with families on any issue. I love this this school!
