It was amazing! I just graduated from THS this year and it was like leaving a family.

great math and science program. Super caring teachers. IB program is good but stops at 5th grade. Lots of staff changes. We have been here 8 years and would say that we are satisfied... not thrilled. Our son took Spanish with straight a's for 8 years and then tested into Spanish 1 in high school. School administration appears unavailable. Great pe teacher but no facilities. Grass roots program that has potential but needs development at the admin level.

THS is innovative, rigorous, and supports the whole child! The small class size combined with truly phenomenal teachers makes THS an exceptional school!

Low child-to-teacher ratio, a safe and caring community, a fantastic language program (Mandarin and Spanish for proficiency...not just a social studies curriculum) along with a stellar overall curriculum all combine for a wonderful elementary-middle school experience. We love this school and have two children in attendance. The only "early years" International Baccalaureate program in the North Bay!

My daughter was part of the founding class at THS, and my son followed when the school expanded. The Head of School was an amazing leader, and partner in both my children's education. She has an amazing vision, and strives to bring incredible opportunities to the children. Every decision that is made is made with best interest of the children in mind. The adults inspired both of my children to value education, make the most of all that is offered, to be always curious, and to live with respect and integrity.

I enrolled my first and fourth grade students at THS when we moved here last August (2010). Their first year at THS was amazing, they were exposed to global events and cultures, mandarin, spanish, performing arts, artistry, economics, music and health programs while excelling in the accelerated reading program and leaping ahead in mathematics and the sciences. The field trips, classroom projects and curriculum are top notch, and I can't imagine a better preparatory experience for all that will face them in their futures. At THS they are gaining confidence, reasoning skills, compassion and learning how to think both in and out of the box. The teaching staff is excellent and the leadership is inspired. We are thrilled to be a part of THS community.

This is one of the only schools in the N Bay that offers the International Baccalaureate program (currently in the process of accreditation by IB). This world-focus curriculum offers a broad-based child centered learning environment. In addition, there s the low teacher/student ratio (10:1); dual language (Spanish & Mandarin); PE and art; uniforms and easy teacher/staff communication make this the best private school in Sonoma County. With two kids currently enrolled, I m very confident about their future.

We've been with THS for 2 years now. We have two children in the school. The smaller class size has really helped in my childrens growth. It is an academically challenging school which also teaches the children to be responsible and respectful individuals. They encourage the students to think outside the box. I can't say enough about the staff and teachers. They are tremendous. Also, the parents are very involved in the school which is helping with it success.
