Was an awesome school. Covid was obviously hard. Stay away from Laura Gozalez for incoming 6th graders and more. Zero parent communication, yells and the kids and forces HER beliefs on the children. As an end of year present she tried giving the unmasked kids face Shields. NO! She wouldn't communicate issues and only had an attitude. She yelled at kids she wasn't accepting anything and to not even ask her. I know of 2 classes who had never had teachers like her. She even marked my son down as failing for missing a poem. A poem which was on the wall in her classroom and we saw and read during open house!!! This wasnt the first time. I love WMS and it's staff but I have seen how this teacher has talked and treated the kids and it is awful. Wish I would have known early on.

My son has had a great first year at the school. The teachers are committed to the students, the homework is relevant to the study topics, and the extra curricular activities are positive and engaging for the students. My son loved participating in cross country, which was open to all levels. One thing to highlight is the schools open transparent communication with the parents. I appreciate that when issues occur on campus the school is quick to communicate through multiple methods (text, phone, social media). They also respond well to emergencies (wildfires, power outages, etc).

My daughter has done so well at this school. She has enjoyed her classes, teachers, music, drama. She is excited for their culinary program. The block schedule has been great for her and the activities available during flex have been wonderful too!

Windsor Middle has some really great programs embedded within their school. We are loving the new flex time and academic support to help provide intervention to students. My child has been a part of the safe school ambassadors program to combat bullying and has been involved in leadership. The new honors, robotics, and engineering programs seem really promising. We are very proud to be Spartans!

My daughters came here from a private school and I was amazed how quickly they both made friends. The teachers and office staff are great. The new principle is implementing new academic programs and has effective leadership.

I went to this school 6-8 grade.i was bullied bc of my heritage the teachers did nothing. I was gone for 2 weeks because i didnt want to go to school because of the ppl there administration did not notice i was gone they only noticed when my mother went to pick me up early. I will say theyre some good teachers there that i probaly wouldnt of survived through that school if i didnt have them. My mom had to pull me out of school because the administration basically told her they did not care to help or do anything about the bullying and if i stood up for myself i would be the one in trouble.

Windsor Police seem to be at the school several times during the week. Fights, gang issues, weapons, and drugs.

We have had a wonderful middle school expiernce. Our 8th grader has maintained a 4.0 this year. He has had wonderful teachers and is as prepared as he can possibly be for high school. We have found the school admin to be responsive to any concerns we have raised.

A lot of bullying. The staff is not strict enough with those issues, then when it comes to what a girl is wearing, they get harassed almost everyday. No leggings, no tank tops, no wearing red, no team sports attire, on & on & on! It's ridiculous, my child is harrarassed at least once a week & asked if she's wearing shorts underneath her dress or skirt! Schools need to focus on teaching the students. Unless they're wearing sexually suggestive clothing, drug or hateful to anyone... It shouldn't be an issue. They go on to HS the next yr. & the "dress code" is completely different & relaxed. If the schools WANTS to be that concerned with what students are wearing then they should implement uniforms! Girls have it much much worse with the "dress code" they are constantly being monitored, where as boys only get talked to if they have a certain color or sports team attire on. Not because their pants are so low you can see their underwear! God forbid my daughters bra strap being showing, on her shoulder when wearing a tank top or another shirt. Let's worry about the fighting & bullying, and making sure everyone can have an equally safe learning environment with the focus on learning.

Hi, I'm currently an 8th grader at the school and as much as I don't like the loads of homework, my classmates and I really have excelled these three years. Through the school, I was able to skip a grade of math, get a scholarship to a math and science camp at Stanford University, get involved in Math Counts, and so much more. Yeah, there are some bad things about the school...like the lunches, but I really have enjoyed my years here. The teachers are so dedicated and fun. I'll be sad to leave next year.
