OK So get this, I am a current student here at CMS AND IT SUCKS HERE D: !!! First of all, the amount of bullying is insane. My first year at couch, not even December and I'm getting bullied FOR NO REASON!!! There have been kids physically shoving me and hitting me and punching me, knowing i get upset easy, and they say and do hurtful things to me, like spreading rumors about me say I'm so annoying and I cry a lot and I'm a snitch for getting my mom to tell the school how I feel cus I'm obviously too shy/scared to say anything. And if i do say something, no one cares, my friend got me to write down a bullies name and told the teacher, I feel like she is one of the only people I can talk to at the school, cus I tried to get an appointment with the counselor mounths ago, but she never cared to listen. Plus a lot of the teachers can be rude and yell at us for doing nothing but what we are suppost to do. I HAVE ALL A's AND ONE B, WHICH IS AN 88 LAST I LOOKED AT MY GRADES AND I STILL FEEL LIKE THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! I DON'T REALLY LIKE IT HERE.

This school is HORRIBLE!!!! My child was bullied by students, and even some teachers on a power trip! My child who had all A’s & B’s & was a cheerleader for the school, hid in the bathroom during a certain class everyday for 3 days to hide from a bully and she was punished with ISS for not being where she was supposed to be and because she refused to give names of the bullies in fear of repercussions. They also have loud classrooms with disrespectful students who curse at the teachers & love distracting the class, and they have no repercussions! My child had 2 teachers (great teachers) quit in December her last year there, due to horrible students & lack of support from administrators. WORST MIDDLE SCHOOL EVER!!! So glad we got our child out of there, & that my other kids will not have to go here.

As a former GCPS High School teacher, I am sad to say that this school is HORRIBLE... only a couple of weeks in to 6th grade and I am looking to get my gifted honor student out of here! Issues with teachers on power trips, disorganized car rider pick ups that take FOREVER! I mean, I thought Elementary was slow but the way they do it at this middle school defies all common sense and logic! And to top it off, today we arrived at 9:12, the same time we arrive every morning but we (and about 20 or 30 others) found the doors locked and were told we had to go around front (which means you have to drive a mile back out to the main road and around and by the time we did this and he got in the front door, it was 9:21 and they gave him a TARDY!Just absolutely a joke of a school...

CMS is a not a safe place for students (or teachers) the leadership is horrible! CMS continues to report inaccurate student head counts and for the past 10 years!! The Principal allows the administration and teachers to bully students and parents!! 100% unethical. Do not send your kids here!!

Awful, my child has told me that lunch time, and bathroom breaks are used against them as a privileges' against them instead of a right. My child has told me of the distracting nature of the children around them, and the little the adults do to stop them. slurs have been shouted at the school and adults don't do anything to prevent this or stop it. IT IS OVER POPULATED AND CONTINUES TO NOT FOLLOW COVID GUID LINES & RESTRICONS BY THE COUNTY. Would NOT recommend your child going here.

Would not recommend CMS to anyone, Student head count is over the Federal limit.. well over 2000 students! Adm is falsely stating student head count and have been for years. The administration believed students and teachers and parents.. #911 alert! Horrible school

The staff overall is wonderful at Couch Middle! There are many challenging students with a variety of issues. The teachers and administration are very dedicated to meet the needs of all the students.

It's already second day of school and one of the teacher at school was very rude at the carpool. She yelled at me in front of my kids for no reason. They need to get organized with their carpool. We are new for the school and we were following the rule but still the teacher was yelling for no reason.

My daughter is a permissive transfer to Couch Middle School. She has been there since the 6th grade and I am very happy with the school. Love their style of teaching and communication with the parents. My daughter has been a straight "A: student throughout her years there. I highly recommend Couch Middle School! it is a well rounded school with education, arts, and hands on experience.

The teachers at this school are good for the most part but there is no democracy. There is no point in having a meeting with the staff if you disagree with anything involving your child because there is no such thing as a compromise with them. I have one child in this school (only a few more months thank God) and I am not happy that I have 2 more that will be going there. I will do all I can to come up with an alternative to sending my other kids to this school. If your child has any type of individuality in their personality that can be taken out of context don't send them to this place.

My daughter went to Snellville Middle last year and it was a nightmare, she was bullied constandly. Kids smoking in the bathrooms, my daughter was outta of control, thank God! i transferred her to Couch Middle her attitude changed within weeks i can say that my daughter is getting a great education now. Couch is a excellent school.
