I went to almost 5 different elementary schools when I was younger. I gotta say this was my favorite BY FAR. I really don't understand why people are so pressed about this school. I'm in 9th grade now, but when I was here for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade, I actually enjoyed going to school. There weren't really any bullies there. I can't say the same now since I don't go there anymore, but I thought it was good. My teachers were super nice and caring, the opportunities at this school felt endless, and I feel they really did care for me there. The only downside is the drive. I'm only saying that because I didn't live in the Redlands, but the drive was worth it.

We switched our kids before Spring Break. Best move We could have made for our kids. They feel welcome. They made friends quick. The staff has gone above and beyond! We really can't say enough about the school. Our girls went from begging not to have to go to school everyday, to being upset they have a weekend away from school. With the change in school came attitude changes at home. They also implement fun things that my girls didn't get to do at other school that they love to do here. Thank you guys for all that you have done for our kids.

Principal doesnt care or do anything about bullies. This is a crime. Teachers dont care about students who need extra help. Dont follow IEPs. Dont know how to work with kids with special needs. Not happy with Scenic at all.

We had to move out of state for work and our kids really miss Scenic. Supposedly our new school at our new home is one of the top academic institutions in the US. Still, as far as we are concerned it lacks the attention and passion for students that we experienced at Scenic. The passion at Scenic is what drove our children to academic success.

I have three children that have either already been through Scenic or are currently attending. I choose to have my kids attend this school as I am out of the designated area. There are many reasons why I do this. The principal shows an amount of compassion and understanding with the students that I have never seen before. This man knows the name of each child, who their teacher is, and if they arent where they are supposed to be he wants to know why. This level of compassion is also seen amongst the staff, from the janitors and administrative staff to the teachers. And as a result, the parents are highly involved with this school because they see that the school truly cares about their childs education. When this school faced closure last year, the parents, students, staff, and even former students all rallied together and as a result the school will remain open. I drive over 200 miles a week to make sure that my children get the best education available and the only elementary school I found this in is Scenic Elementary.
