I find this school truly amazing. They have many fun clubs to choose from, the teachers are overall great, and there's a lot to learn. They offer a program titled the Challenge Program, for students who are more academically gifted, to offer a better learning experience to suit their learning ability. I am a part of this program, and I must say, it is astounding. Anyone in the Challenge Program will still move through the normal curriculum, but much faster, and afterwards will start learning subjects a grade level above them. They have the same people in each class, making it much easier to bond with others. The Challenge Program is a really good place to check out for academically gifted kids. Back to my overall thoughts on this school, the teachers respect you and try their best to give you a good learning experience, and East's students do great at tests. It's heartbreaking that East is closing next year, but at least the Challenge Program will be moved to another school.

Horrible, horrible, horribble. This school does not have anything my child enjoyed. The teachers are terrible, most mean and lack knowledge of any type of student that does not fit the 4.0 threshold. Principal is unfeeling and monotone. Vice principal is a wreck as well. Staff does not work well with children. Bullying and lack of attention to students are huge issues. This is by far one of the worst middle schools we have experienced.

East is a great school. Their challenge program, which I was in, is AMAZING! You're a grade ahead in everything! I would say that this school is small, but, like they say, less is more! I loved this school and was so sad that I had to move. I would approve this school for anyone!

this is a great school. they have many different programs for children with different learning ablities. they have the challenge program for kids that need to be challenged. the teachers are always understanding and try to relate to the kids. mt daughter comes home every day and never stops talking about what happened with the teachers. the also have a time when they do extracircular activities such as photography, current events, or time when kids need help with studies
