My kids have been bullying terribly and nothing happens to help them feel safe. Last year a boy was threatening my sons life and my son was truly afraid this year they put his bully in his class...

Dos Rios Elementary School is a wonderful school with the best possible principal and teachers. Why even the gardener does a better job than the other schools. NO reason to be only rated at a 3. This is wrong wrong wrong. A strong 10 is what it should be. Lots of minority students deficient in English but somehow they learn a lot during the year. Current tests are a joke. They do not really measure what the student is learning and from what begging point they learned. At Dos Rios kids learn to love school and try harder. That is what really counts in the real world.

Great Schools ratings are total BS. This school is fantastic. The principal on down to the janitor are the best of the best. Last of 3 kids finishing there this spring. They were all extremely well prepared for higher grades and life itself. I rate this school the best of the best in Colorado and we have some great schools.

So far i have no complaints about the school or the teacher(s). My daughter loves it there and loves her teacher. :)

Small classrooms and a dedicated staff make this school run so well. The principal Vernan Raney is very motivated to make it a cohesive working enviroment by supporting the teaching staff and being an excellent listener to parents. Love it!
