This school is terrible. Most of the teachers are unmotivated, careless, and oppressive. They don’t put grades in causing students to have bad grades, and they give out extreme amounts of assignments without consideration to their time and other class work. Some teachers also feel unauthorized authority over students and use it as an excuse to mistreat and disrespect them. There is a ban on many things which lead to unnecessary restrictions. The school has extremely poor hygiene standards. The sewer system is broken very often, there are rat, cockroach, and bee infestations and the school stinks. The food is basically a hazard because food poisoning is common amongst students and the food is often expired. As for the sports programs, the school only funds football while other sports teams lack proper equipment and facilities. The security is lacking as students frequently get injured, or are exposed to harmful substances. The school is not large enough for all of the students present which causes overcrowding in the hallways and stairways. The nurse will not help the students with medical problems and does not care about the circumstances of students discomfort. Overall this school has poor hygiene, under qualified staff, bad education, and lack of empathy for the students.

Amazing school! Spirited, welcoming, outstanding AP classes and staff. If you put in the work and get involved great things happen!

I have no idea the bad ratings. My son went from average grades and fighting for special needs services from another state to Williamsfield where they have the best IEP team I have ever met. His case worker has encouraged him and now he has straight A’s, qualifies for National Honor Society, and has a huge growth mindset. He now qualifies for AP college classes, and is looking into attending the STEM program there with his teacher’s help. His peers and teachers treat him well and with respect. He loves it here.

This year has been a wild ride . Freshman yrnstarted off great. The Marching Band and guard program is wonderful! The kids work hard and the band program is Great. All the teachers have be great. My son struggled in middle school but is doing great in HS. The teachers hold them accountable for their grades but are there to help and work with them. Communication has been great also. If you as a parent stay involved & your kid makes an effort they will succeed. Trust me, mine has an IEP and is working and enjoying it. With the closure the teachers have been AMAZING!!!! They have worked really hard at making sure the kids online learning continues and has a positive impact.

The school is broken. They fail in preparing their students for college. The test scores are low in a state that ranks near the bottom of the county. Arizona has one of the and lowest per pupil funding andgrub they chose to build there numbers around a football program. The school reputation in the area is dropping so to keep their numbers they bring in kids for the outside. I feel bad for the kids and families of the school.

This school blows, wish my son didn’t go here!! Used him on the Football team. The Coach openly recruits kids to the school. The principal is a warden the school is ran like a prison! The teachers are terrible, all they talk about is their pay. Don’t put in grades and favor the football players that Campbell likes. The rest of Athletic teams are forgotten about. This school should be suspended from AIA for recruiting for football! This school is terrible!!

The school is only interested in their football program at the expense of the student's education.

The school does not offer a well-rounded experience for students, who are not interested in sports. In fact, they did not have funds available for the orchestra music at the beginning of the year, so the teacher had to use his own money so that the kids had something to play. Also, the coaching staff is eager to win at the expense of the students. If your child is not the best, then he or she will be benched for the entire season. Finally, the academic program is in need of an overhaul, which includes stronger math and science courses, that will allow for students to be successful in college.

Williams Field was a great time while I was there. It was easy to skip class, sneak into the gym and screw around, go to Circle K and make it back without anyone noticing or asking when they did notice. Football is the center of all life at Williams Field, EVERYTHING is football. As fun as that is, it became too easy to get behind on grades. I had all D's and C's in honors classes and no one ever talked to me or anything about getting grades up, (not even my teachers). The news program there (EBN) is TERRIBLE, you are forced to watch garbage some football coach creates. The entire time I was there I never once had to go near the library, I never saw the head principal (EVER), the only cool person there is John Dolan, and that's because he sounds like hermit the frog, he's pretty cool. Listen, Williams Field is one hell of a hyped place, but PLEASE base your decision off of more than just that. You'll regret it if you don't.

The football program fuels the entire school, with administrative preference given to football above all other sports and programs. The choral program is improving. The AP program flourishes. The unfortunate, but pervasive top down intimidation from superintendent to administration and staff prevails at this school, and colors every interaction between support staff and students and their parents. The administrative philosophy seems to be suspicious of parental involvement in the teen's education. The support staff philosophy seems to be less about supporting the educational success of the student and more about making the students shoulder the consequences of over-burdened, harried, underpaid support staff by making time with the guidance counselor scarce and discouraging if not denying schedule changes. The educators are caring and professional. The food is low quality with portions befitting an elementary aged student. The educators are caring and professional, in spite of the low pay and intimidation tactics from district and school administration.

The school is strict on homework. If you miss homework assignments you will be assigned detention. It is in one of Arizona top rated School District Namely Higley School District. The teachers are caring and very good to excellent. I would have to say the class room sizes are medium to large and some of the teachers are loaded pretty heavy with class sizes above 25 to 30 kids. Extra carriculum activities are excellent and second to none. We are Impressed with Williams Field. We came from Mc Clintock High School a 9 out of 10 school and we are at Williams Field a 9 out of 10 School.

Williams Field is a great school not only for academics but sports too! Many great clubs to join and everyone is friendly. We could use some better teachers though. Black Hawks Dominate!!!

Well this was my first year at WFHS. I am transfer from a different state. In would have stayed at my school. this school is alright. But there Special Education Department sucks big time!! They don't keep in contact with you at all. If you have a student who has a IEP didnt send them here. Its all screwed up. I got the worst grade that i have every had in all my years of being iin school. Also, if you are a student have your parents call the school if you ever want someting done. Such as switching your schulde or change a teacher. the school does not listen to you at all. i got stuff stolen a lot and that has never had happen to me before i went here. But the sports are great here. The teachers are nice.
