We have been very pleased with the administration and staff at CMS. The teachers are incredibly responsive to questions and concerns. The classes are challenging and there is a focus on preparing kids for high school. I would highly recommend.

Some teachers are not there mentally and just sit at their desks eating or staring at their computer, some teachers are awesome and fun. However, the school doesn’t really handle bullying well and makes you feel really scared and anxious at the end of the day and before school, mainly because you are afraid of the bully’s and what they’ll do to us. There are a ton of kids who try to fight each other and no one reports it.

Some teachers are amazing while others are very questionable. Very unreliable because mid-year, the algebra teacher got suspended then fired later on in the year. It was very hard to teach myself algebra while not having a teacher to help.

The only thing I really don't like is how Lanschool is handled, but overall it's good school. (I kinda do have bias towards this school for reasons, but yeah)

Please do not send your child here if they have any mental health or social issues! This school is wholly unprepared to meet the needs of children who dont fit their definition of "normal." They intentionally agitated a child then suspended him for a mental health crisis they handled wrong. They set them up to fail then punish them for failing. Irresponsible and disappointing on every level.

Amazing!!! Our experience at Cooley with staff, teachers and the curriculum has been very positive. Staff is responsive to concerns and addresses them in an efficient manner. This school has been a very enriching, positive, and fun Middle School experience for our son. So honored we purchased a home in the Higley School District - it is smaller district and has grown tremendously over the last 10 years. The District has blossomed into an educationally enriching and safe environment for students..and Cooley is a prime example!

My son really enjoys the school, students and the curriculum. We met most of the teachers during an open house night and I was very impressed with them. They seem to enjoy teaching and seem energetic and caring. My son also just transferred to this school district and the students seem to be very welcoming. I also love that they have a Mandarin program at this school. The instructor is wonderful and my son actually says learning Mandarin is fun and easy. I attribute that to the instructor!

Do not expect much here. The teachers and the administration are mediocre. They follow the low standards of the state in teaching. If you want your children to be above average in education, you should consider other schools.
