Love this school. My son started Kindergarten here and is now starting 3rd grade. Every teacher has been amazing and patient. The overall leadership is great and I can’t imagine a better environment for a young kid.

My son has attended Chaparral since his first day of Kindergarten... He's now in 2nd grade and his progress has been solid. My experience as a parent has been a great one. Besides the great academic achievements, I love how there is an overall leadership and character development aspect by the whole staff.

This is a great community school. the teachers are invested and so hard working. The most important thing about any school is teachers. Chaparral has some of the best! So many good families that are very involved in their childs education. WE love it!

This is one of the valleys best kept secrets. Many families open enroll here because the school is child centered, there is great communication and an exceptional staff. From top down, we've been impressed with what this school has to offer. Our two kids love their chaparral shark school. The best part is the teachers and administrators. They work so hard for our kids. The worst part is probably the parking. They are a big school so the traffic is intense. But We are willing to wait for a top notch education.

This is a prize community school. Thoughtful teachers who care about students, a great principal who is a big presence on campus and always willing to work with parents. We've loved our kindergarten and first grade teachers and are looking forward for the next few years at this community school. Our children LOVE being Chaparral sharks and feel pride in their school. -Highly recommend this school in the east valley.

We love this school! We transferred our 1st grader here after we tried a private school for the first 2 months of the school year. We have a great teacher that challenges our son appropriately and teaches through great lessons! Everyone was so wonderful in helping to make this an easy transition for our son. The front office is also wonderful. I don't go in the office much but everyone knows us by name and they are always friendly and helpful.

My daughter is in 1st grade and I have been very happy with Chaparral so far. She had a wonderful teacher in kinder that was willing to go out of her way to challenge my daughter. I look forward to my son starting at Chaparral next year.

The teachers are dedicated to their students and the parents! There is a reason they are an "A-rated" school. From the top down, the school shines. I won't move out of the area because my kids deserve to be at the best and that is where they are!

I have two children that went to Chaparral and my son loves the school and my daughter 'Kind of' liked the school! My daughter says that the teachers didn't discipline very well and their flow wasn't all that great. She says that the teachers were kind of crazy, but my son ... LOVES HIS SCHOOL! He thinks that his sister is crazy! One of the craziest teachers (per my daughter) was also one of the teachers she learned the most from ... go figure.

Great school. My son also transferred after winter break from a nearby Higley school and has had nothing but a great experience with the students and staff. Just minutes away from another school in the district but a world of difference in the students, staff, teaching philosphy and partnership with parents. I still think K-8 is ridiculous, Jr. High should be in a seperate school all together but if you're stuck in the area recommend this schol.

My son transferred here mid semester this fall in 8th grade. I have been so happy with the level of support and help we received making that transition at such a hard age. The teacher, administration and support staff are happy to be there. Great community spirit and it shows!

I went to this school in 8th grade and I loved it! I went the year drama free probably because of the friends I made. The teachers were very nice and I enjoyed learning there!
