School is alright, meet basic educational needs.

The school is focused only on moving up the middle up (ie C student to a B student) and neglecting to acknowledge hardworking and deserving A students. They are more concerned about trying to give a fair attention but then failed to give a good form of recognition to above average students who have worked hard the whole year. Other than that, the school is good!

Laytonsville was a great school. If you needed help, you would obtain it and if you needed a challenge, teachers were able to work with you and have you do something more difficult. Most everyone got along, and racist and sexist things were nonexistent. Everyone at laytonsville had good moral values as well. Overall this school is amazing and you couldn't ask for your child to go anywhere better.

Laytonsville Elementary School has always been a great community for children. The teachers are dedicated and care about kid's education and well being. Laytonsville is a great community too spend your childhood in and I would recommend this school too anyone.

I have 3 kids, each one very different than the other and each one had or is having a great experience at Laytonsville elementary. Many teachers at Laytonsville have been there for 10 plus years and are very dedicated to their students. I have volunteered at Laytonsville regularly for many years and have witnessed a school that emphasizes strong academics, personal responsibility and respect for others. My children range from gifted and talented to typical to learning disabled and each has had their academic needs met at Laytonsville. Finally, Laytonsville Elementary has a lot of before/after school clubs, family events (bingo, spring festival, picnics), and is a very warm and welcoming community.
