My family loves Valencia Park Elementary School. I have a son and daughter who attend the school and they love it! The teachers and new Principal, Dr. Ruiz, truly care about our children and are always available to listen, protect, and educate our children. Go Valencia Park Lions!

My Son has been attending this school for 5 years. He is in the 5th grade and was doing great!! Up until this year, his grades started to go down. He isn't happy about going to school. There are a lot of Bully's and no one seems to do anything about it. Kids put their hands on others and they do not get reprimanded the way they should. I will be taking my Son out of this horrible school. I have also been told that they lunch tables are mopped with the same Mop that is used to clean the floors.

I've been very pleased so far with my daughter's experience at this school. It is a title 1 school but nevertheless, the teachers are committed to providing a quality education. The class sizes went up this year, however it shows that the teachers spent a great deal of time planning on how they would still meet individual needs with a class 1/3 larger than what they were used to. 3rd grade and up uses iPads on a regular basis. I feel very involved in my child's education. She is a gifted student and her teacher strives to meet her needs and keep her challenged. They offer an after school drama club and I'm so pleased FSD has the All the Arts program. Again, very pleased. The office staff and admin have always been warm and open to questions and comments as well.

My daughter is in the 2nd grade and has been going here since Kindergarten. First, I love the fact that there are no more than 20 students to a class room. The teachers here are great and they really care about the students and their education. The school participates in the Apple program where every student have the advantage to use new technology (iPods and iPads) to learn. The principal, Mrs. Flores has been amazing with the students and getting them more involved. Great school and very proud to send my daughter there.

I live in the apartments next door to this school and frequent thr park with my children. The language and attitude of the kids that attend this school is unbelieveable! I refuse to send my kids there even though it's right next door. every child deserves better. The students have aweful attitudes and seem extremely disrespectful.
