We are a new kinder family and we LOVE Whitaker! Our son's teacher is tech savvy, smart and creative. I know my child is getting the best experience possible- a real 21st century education. Whitaker has a strong culture of teacher collaboration, the most rigorous and authentic academic programs and a beautiful, safe campus. Couldn't be happier.....

We transferred into this school after a negative experience in another district. I was looking for a school near my work and one that had a strong social-emotional approach. We certainly found it in Whitaker. I have never felt more welcome on a campus. It is inviting, safe and provides students with many opportunities (gardening, after school programs, speech club, etc.). We are THRILLED with this school!

My kids love the school . They have continued to excel academically. They have been in attendance since TK and have loved all their teachers. Staff and administration are always ready to help.

Wonderful School - Caring TeachersThere are not words I can say to express how pleased I am with Whitaker. I have dealt with poor schools in the past with my older children. This is seriously the best elementary school I've experienced private or public

I absolutely loved Whittaker school, Mr Kiefer was an Incredible teacher so sad my son had to leave for 7th grade . Two thumbs up for Whitaker.

What I like most about James A Whitaker School is the family atmosphere. The teachers, office staff & their principal demonstrate a tremendous amount of care for the students & their families. Its evident in all the ways they make learning possible and their commitment to helping the students beyond their academics. Everyone takes a deep interest in the students & their families by providing opportunities for self-development, parental training, safety & even by helping families get food when its needed. My two boys attend this school and we love it! My boys are challenged every day and their teachers are kind and compassionate. One of my boys even attends a small reading group for extra help, while the other child attends an enrichment class to provide him with more challenging concepts. They really evaluate every student and help all kids reach their potential!
