I can’t say enough great things about this school. My child has attended since 1st grade and is now at the top of the food chain. This school is amazing because of the staff!

A constant battle to try to communicate with the teachers and staff at the school. They don't seem to care about the well being of students.

Unfortunately our experience so far has been pretty unplesent. Starting with the front office staff, and throughout the rest of the school there doesnt seem to be a welcoming and friendly environment. For a small town elementry school you would expect the small town inviting feeling. The other elementry school in Fruita is the exact opposite and is what you would expect from an elementry school. Kind of unfortunate that 2 schools in the same town about 1 mile apart are so differently run and Shelledy is the one dragging.

Shelledy has been a great school for my children. I haven't always had the best experience with public education. When I came to Shelledy, Mr. States, the principal, made a special effort to call and welcome me. The teachers are caring and everyone in the building make you feel welcome. It iis a caring and nurturing environment for your children.
