Amazing school focused on sucess and planning for the future regardless of what your child's future plans are. They have opportunities with local trade schools, community colleges and excellent tracks for college prep. Significant AP course offerings. Much better than your average public school in all areas. As ap parent they keep you informed and up to date on school opportunities as well as your student. Sports are average. Best school on the Western slope.

Excellent school with passionate teachers. The options for students wishing to reach for the stars is great. Much like life school is what you make of it, the more energy you put into your school the more you will get out of it.

I have taught at this school for 32 years and all three of my sons attended here. They were all school of choice because I felt FMHS had the highest achievement and the best opportunities for them in the valley. I had opportunities to teach in other schools in Mesa County, but I passed them by. This has been a great school, and I think all the students are well-served. Beyond the classroom, the extra curricular programs have been awesome. My oldest blossomed in the marching band. My middle son played in the jazz band, and all three ran cross country and track. The two that graduated (my youngest is a senior this year) were ready for college, have finished their undergrad work and found wonderful jobs. FMHS prepared them well.

I was bullied at this school many years ago, and left because of it. All I have are bad memories of that place. I hope it has changed since then.
