I recommend this school unreservedly to anyone looking for a Jewish education and/or an education in a setting with an excellent student/teacher ratio.

After a negative experience in Kindergarten, I came to this amazing school! The teachers, especially in middle school are outstanding in every way. I came here for elementary and middle school. It’s not flawless, but this school is amazing from start to finish.

Metrowest Jewish Day School is a great small Jewish private school. It is a warm community and everyone looks out for each other. Our son loves his school and his teachers. He is learning secular studies and at the same time learning Hebrew and loving Judaism. We are thrilled.

I wish I could call it a school. The leadership and many of the staff have no clue what it means to be educators. The learning environment is chaotic and not suitable for learning - especially for children with special needs.The classes has many children that required help but they don't have the tools to deals with their needs and the few children that are ok are not progressing because of it. This "school" is a mess

My children have had wonderful learning experiences here. The faculty and staff are extremely skilled and supportive. The small class sizes allow for lots of individual educational attention, and also encourage cross-grade social interactions. It's a truly nurturing and welcoming school and community, and we feel blessed to be a part of it.

This school quite simply saved our child's educational and emotional life. He had had an extremely difficult experience at a different school, and we needed to pull him out after 5th grade. We arrived at Metrowest for 6th grade, and found that teachers were sensitive, amazing at differentiation, and slowly helped to heal our son. The head of school, Scott Sokol, is a skilled leader who brings insight from his neuropsychological background and role as an educator for educators. I cannot say enough good about this place. We pulled another son from another place after kindergarten and placed him at Metrowest because we were so impressed with the school - and we have never looked back.

MWJDS is an amazing school for kids in grades k-8. We currently have two children here. The kindergarten teacher is gifted with children and is truly a blessing to my children. She is SOOO patient! The new head of school, Dr. Scott Sokol, is has revamped the education model to meet the needs of kids with a wide range of abilities and challenges. We came here because we loved the focus on the kids, but we stay because MWJDS has the most caring teachers I've ever run across. My children have both been diagnosed with learning challenges, and the staff has been very supportive and adapted to meet my children's individual needs. I have been so impressed with their work with both my own and other children. I really can't say enough about the great experience my children have had at MWJDS.

MWJDS is a top-notch school of unparalleled quality that provides a rigorous, leveled education to all children, instills a love for and knowledge of Judaism and Judaics, and teaches kids core Jewish and human values of caring for others, compassion, friendship, honesty and tolerance, to name just a few. My kids have been blossoming at the school both academically and socialy and I'm so grateful to be part of this warm and nurturing school community.

As an MWJDS parent, I have consistently found the school to provide an excellent learning environment with strong academic curriculum, individualized instruction, warm and invested educators, and a commitment to positive values.

Which small in size, they are also small minded. They do not have grade acceptable benchmarks and are performing well below public school students. If you are looking for a private school then your children would be better served at Solomon Schechter Day School. The children at MWJDS can not seamlessly move onto high school as they lack a basic education.

This school, especially the head of school, Mr. Sokol, lacks the ability to educate and protect the few children that do attend. They have a NONE-EXISTENT anti-bullying policy and lack any ability to effectively educate children with ANY SPECIAL NEEDS. Stay away especially when there are so many other good Jewish schools like Solomon Shector, etc.

this school doesn't have a bullying policy in which they follow! So while the school may be a wonderful place to send your child for an education, you have to also check your child for bruises made by other children.
