I am a student at fuller (sadly) and I out of the 8 schools Ive been to, I have never seen such an unruly, zoo like school. The teachers there Lack authority in the classroom and the students have 0 respect towards them. They let kids roam the halls and I have even whiteness a kid from a different class come into my class, throw water and shove the teacher. The teacher did Nothing about it other than yell. It's such a disruptive environment full of toxic and unwelcoming children. I didn't learn anything there and the teachers don't care about that. DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL EVER.

Fantastic! New principle last year and he's improved behavior, grades. He's a real presence in the school. Knows most of the kids and they know him. He sets the standards and expects each trimester and grade to be increasingly more challenging than the last. For those concerned with test scores, keep in mind a fair portion of the students are English language learners, however are expected to take the standardized tests in English. That can impact scores. But of the Native English speakers, test scores are great and improving. Lots of afterschool activities for students to get involved in. My 7th grader is half way through and is doing wonderful and we couldn't be happier with her middle school experience.

It is important to know that this school as a new principal, Mr Duarte as of the 2016-2017 school year, and he is fantastic!!! He is bringing a new type of leadership to this school. Very visible, very involved, very supportive of the staff and students. He has also hired a new gifted program teacher who has really improved the program. With some trepidation I gave up a spot at the charter school because my child wanted to go to Fuller because of the arts/music/theatre programs that are available. I do not regret this choice one bit. There is still room for improvement, but with the new leadership I am very optimistic about the future at Fuller.
