This was the best elementary school for my son. To experience for the student and parents were great and the staff and leadership are incredible.

My son attends Fort Montgomery Elementary School ( the Fort School) now. He is in the 1st grade. He loves it. He began in Pre-K as a 4 year old. The school only goes up to 2nd grade so next year will be his last year at the school . I will be sad to have him leave this school. The teachers are great and caring. I like the new Principal Mr. McElduff. The school nurse is great. We get a call if anything has happened to our son while in school. He's learning coding in the STREAM program. He has a great teacher in STREAM as well - Mrs. Magyar. The school does different events to keep parents & students engaged. They also have programs to help children and not make them feel as though they are receiving "special" classes. My son takes language enhancement classes to help him pronunciate his letters better and it's working. More importantly, my son loves going to school everyday.

Fort Montgomery Elementary School I had 2 children in this school and I must say I absolutely loved this school. It has obvious financial problems but academically, they focus on the educational growth of the children. We came from West Point and so I was very hesitant at first but this has, by far, been one of the best schools my boys have attended. The entire staff was very professional and polite. They went above and beyond their required duties to make sure my family felt at home. This school really deserves financial support because they have an amazing staff!

Wonderful small school environment. Loved the staff and teachers, including principal and nurse. I cried each time one of our children 'graduated' from this school.
