It is pretty bad, actually. I did not realized how bad it was until my kid moved to a different school district. I am really sorry for the parents in Peekskill.

We have been very happy with our experience at Oakside, especially the performing arts program. Our child has had a great two years here, testing above level in both math and reading, and participating in various extracurricular activities including intramural sports, STEM programs, and music. His favorite part of school is playing in the orchestra, which is led by a wonderful music teacher who goes above and beyond for our kids.

My third grader has gone to Oakside for 2 years. She has had the opportunity to join the strings instrument program starting in third grade, has been in a STEM enrichment program for two years, and is learning Spanish in the school's amazing dual language program. The staff is warm, responsive, dedicated and sensitive to the needs of the diverse student body. The learning opportunities and spirit in this school are fantastic.

Oakside fosters a welcoming learning environment for ALL students. We are thrilled that our 2nd grader continues to have the opportunity to participate in the Dual Language Program. She is immersed in a wonderfully diverse learning experience. The principal and her staff are dedicated individuals who are always encouraging of and receptive to parent engagement. Events such as Family Literacy & Math Nights have been wonderful resources. Great partnerships with the local art community have resulted in wonderful enrichment opportunities/programming. We love Oakside!

We love Oakside Elementary! Principal Woodley is so lovely and kind. She is very accessible and makes an effort to get to know the kids and their families. The staff work to build a culture of warmth, respect, and safety for the children. The teachers we've worked with are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. We love some of the building-wide initiatives, such as the Reading Challenges/Celebrations and the Talent Show. Our son is also participating in several enrichment opportunities, including technology club and performing arts. We have been especially impressed with the character education and anti-bullying programs.

This school is terribly, Los profesor no est n preparados para trabajar con ni os que han sido v ctimas de boullyn mi Hijo fue atacado 3 veces en la escuela y la profesora lo que hizo despu s fue presionar lo como s el fuera el culpable por que el no quer a regresar a la escuela, esta mujer estiene obsesi n con mi hijo me llama a mi cell tarde de la noche, fines de semana y los d as que no va a trabajar porq ahora seg n el mi hijo tiene problemas mentales .
