This school is amazing! We began with kindergarten and ever since our child has grown immensely in the past three years. The kindergarten and first grade teacher are extremely loving and supportive and do a great job communicating with the parents. The principal has an open door and truly listens when we came in to discuss things with him. I am sure some people are offended because he always asks for parents to discuss issues with the teacher first, but he was supportive and sat in the meeting to help our student in second grade. The curriculum is advanced compared the other private schools our older children went to, but the faculty while small in number are huge in supporting students and families. They do not seem to have a resource teacher or people to do a lot of tutoring or behavior support, so it may not be a fit for everyone, but they seem honest and open about those limitations. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants a well-rounded education for their student with lots of opportunities in art, music, sports, and more. Lastly, the art program is amazing, make sure and check out their art night!

Starting at the top the principal is very relational and communicative. He clearly sets an example for the teachers and the students on how to care for each other and knows the students. We have been at the school since the COVID 19 shut down and the teachers have done an amazing job of engaging our students. Our students are intelligent and needed pushed and the teachers kept them interested and learning more and more. We love the middle school honors math program; the kindergarten and 1st grade teacher are amazing, and our students love to go back and visit them when they can. The science teacher and the 2nd grade teacher can appear tough and rigid, but when you get to know them, you will know how much they care. The 8th grade teacher and the 7th grade teacher really do a great job with reading and math and pushing the students to do their absolute best. The teachers show up to the student events like sports and music and even to events that are outside of school just to show they love and care for the students and families. The school may not have the resources for children on IEPs or that need extra help as they are small and do not get government resources as a Christian school. However, if you are looking for a school that is focused on the whole student, teaching the Bible and Christian values and that really focuses on relationships and caring for your student (especially in the early grades) then this is the perfect school for you.Your student will be pushed to do more than at the average school, they will be encouraged to try new things, and the school doesn't back away from hard or difficult things. This has given our students a big advantage over students from other schools. We are absolutely pleased with the education our students are receiving and the relationship we have with the school.Extracurricular options are good with sports all the way through, Christmas programs, music, concerts, drama, technology, a great art teacher, and the church music director offers violin, cello, and choir for free after school. The church's Christian Education Director teaches wilderness survival and cooking classes and offers free youth programs for all ages.

My daughter was bullied a lot in this school. We tried to have it addressed with the principal, and said he would handle it, and nothing changed. The school is very limited on what they learn. My child doesn’t know any states or capitals which public school would have already taught at her age. The preschool program is the only good they have going for them. We were there during COVID and it was super unorganized, and the lack of attention and care for the kids is astounding. The cost for the school is outrageous too. The cost of the education does not match up with the type of education the children are receiving. Please look elsewhere for a school.

Was not a good school for my special needs child. They don't have the knowledge or training to address their needs. Public Schools are slightly better in addressing special needs but a special education private school is better. This is just my experience with this school but your child may do well here.

If you have other choices do your research and find a better school. We moved to the area and where looking for a christian school, didn’t have many option and decided to give this school a try. After a whole year, we have decided to go back to our previous school even though we have a 45 min drive every single day. I should also mentioned my 3-year old son will come many days saying a kid will call him hateful words and hit him causing my son to cry and from what I saw in a whole year nothing was done to stop that. The one thing my son learned was to go tell the teacher instead of crying and be hurt by this kid. These things where not happening at the previous school. I know this is also coming from home but I think they should do something about it to have these type of behavior stop more so if we are talking about a christian faith environment. Academically they are average. My oldest son didn’t see anything different from what he was learning in kindergarden at the previous school. Staff is not very friendly, I could extend on that but I will leave it at that! I didn’t like the school. Oh AND there is zero parent engagement. Communication is very slow. MANY THINGS that my husband and I didn’t like.

I’m really confused about the negative reviews on this site. My granddaughter has been attending Faith Lutheran, Eustis, for years and loves it! We have always been very happy with the teachers, Pastor, and the staff. She is excelling in both math and reading, and she loves to go to school. She also learns everyday about how much Jesus, loves her. I love that!!! I highly recommend Faith Lutheran.

If you would like your child to be bullied, not only by students but also staff, this is the school for you. Your child will be ridiculed, treated like a number and given no support or help. The student body is full of fighting, smoking, threats of school shootings, knives being brought and displayed i could go on and on. In no way will the staff back up your child or defend them. They will dismiss the worry your child has and tell them to just continue their day. The staff is mostly married couples so to speak with a head of department or the principal about a problem with a teacher, is like talking to wall. Your complaints fall on deaf ears and they can do no wrong. I have other schools letting me know how disgusting their reviews about my children are, and the schools are looking at their reports as lies because I provided more references from my childs previous schools before Faith Lutheran. So to summarize, this schools student body and staff are out of control and some of the most judgemental and clised minded individuals i have ever come into contact with.

Mediocre at best. Communication from the teachers was slow. Lots of focus on rote memorization of material. My child hates school after an experience here. We are working to foster her love for learning again.

It is disheartening that a school that prides itself on being shining Christian example. Avoid.

My daughter attended Faith. The staff is professional and compassionate. The quality education she received there gave her the edge she needed to graduate high school and college with honors. I would recommend this school to everyone.

My daughter transferred to Faith Lutheran school from another Lutheran school and we are extremely pleased with the quality of education. The staff, teachers and children in her class were extremely welcoming which made her transition to a new school very easy. High quality education and excellent teachers! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a good education for their child.

I wish there was less than one star because that is what I would rate this school. Wasted four years of our daughters education here. The staff is cold and uncaring. The school is academically behind. The teachers are rude and have no business teaching.

Faith Lutheran School has been a tremendous blessing to our family. Our child was working below grade level upon entering Faith Lutheran School 3 years ago and is now working at or above grade level in all subject areas. The teachers are fantastic and genuinely love and care for their students. We wholeheartedly recommend Faith Lutheran School to anyone who is looking for a quality education provided in a safe and caring environment.

This school is wonderful! A true blessing for my children who have been attending this school for several years now. The foundation of faith established in these students is absolutely phenomenal. The teachers are God-Fearing and committed individuals. They are excellent role models of faith, passion, and drive for the students of this school. The students learn about their Lord and Savior on a regular basis. The students reach high levels of academic excellence, and they learn to become responsible and equipped young adolescence. This school is the best decision my husband and I have made for our children! Who knew such a blessing would be located in Eustis, Florida.

Disappointed at the lack of academic standards and below average curriculum. My third grader at public school has more difficult spelling words than my middle schooler at Faith. Teachers have blatant favorites and don't apologize for it. The church offers nothing for families and ignore their small children. This is a dying church in serious financial trouble that carries over to the school.

This school sweeps problems under the rug. They tell parents what they want to hear. Teachers are rude. I do not see Gods love at this school.I am mad we wasted our money and childrens education.

When we were looking for a school for our children, the most important need was that the teachers were able to adapt to the learning styles of each of our children. I do not feel that each child in a classroom can be taught on the same level. The administration and teachers have made it a priority to work with us as a team on our child's needs. The teachers add to their curiosity in specific topics by giving them extra material and in depth instruction in areas of interest. If I feel something should be done in the class setting, being minor or major, I know I can go to the teachers and come to a solution the same day. The school overall has a small family feel where I know my kids are cared for and loved. The educational material the school has provided so far has exceeded that of prior school experiences.
