Save yourself a headache and find another school.... if possible. You can do better and your children deserve better. Some of the teachers are great .....but the new principal closed the dual language program without giving the parents any say or warning. The school lost the Title I funding and with it went the extra curricular activities such as the Nutritional Education. My son had fever of 100F and told three different people around him that he is not feeling well to feel his forehead and he was told to SIT down. He came home crying that everyone told him to sit down. The teacher one of my children had did not like her even though she was one of the two kids with straight A's at the end of the year and never gave her student of the month no matter how hard she tried. She was just hearbroken that she never got student of the month in second grade. If you are well connected you might get the good teachers ...if not find another school....
