This has been a wonderful school for our daughter. She loves her teachers and has made several friends. We like that we pack her lunch every day so we can control her nutrition (some families have special dietary practices at the school). We also like that the director tries to keep parents informed and up-to-date on events.

Hilltop creates a loving and supportive environment for children to learn and to express their budding personalities. The classrooms are thoughtfully designed so that children learn through self-directed activity as well as teacher guidance and peer mentoring. The teaching staff is well trained, compassionate, and attentive. It is amazing how children from Hilltop have a such a strong sense of self-confidence. I have seen children make enormous strides in their personal development at Hilltop. My daughters have thrived there and I would recommend Hilltop to anyone.

Hilltop Montessori is a private Montessori school for ages 18 months to 10 years old. The teachers are professionally trained, specialized Montessori teachers. They are attentive to the students needs and talents. Classroom management is exceptional. I visit the school during the day and always find the classrooms calm and quiet, students focused and busy with their work, and teachers facilitating the students work. The headmaster is a strong leader and advocate of the Montessori method, and is involved in the community. The school is green - it uses rainwater catchment, composting, and earth friendly cleaning materials. The academic program is challenging and encourages excellence in a variety of subjects.
