I'm a student here in huntley. This School has its ups and downs. the teachers are mostly nice, there are some Ok teachers but, other than that this is a pretty good school. they have this thing called web leaders. where 8th graders help 6th graders learn what middle school is about. they have a decent amount of clubs. the students aren't very nice to the teachers tho. for example, if a student is on their phone during class and a teacher tells them to put it away. The student will either talk back and get sent to the office, or Put it away and Whispers some questionable things under their breath. they have great field trips. and i believe the education here too. They food is not that great. they have the same food everyday, with one extra meal that's different every day. The meals are always chicken patties and nachos. The only good meal is the biscotti sticks. Anyway, they have big tests for high school and prep you well. i recommend, but, there are lots of fights, not like everyday, but yea, 1 to 2 per week. That i know of. and i also don't see any bullying and if i did, i would either top it, or they would stand up for themselves. But overall i give this a 3-4 star school.

I have been a student for 3 years. This school has many fights, up to 11 in a single day. The teachers are generally nice, but there are a few rotten eggs. The principal is not very helpful as she likes to talk and take selfies with the kids who fight each other every day, but yells at kids who walk through the halls WITH a hall pass.

The staff up front are really rude. But, that seems to be a staple at DeKalb County Schools. I've encountered this at several DeKalb schools, and unfortunately, I'm used to it. My son has been faced with several bullying situations, but he tries his best to ignore/avoid those kids. He says he does like it better than the elementary school he went to. I do like the homework emails I get, and I like that the grades are posted online. I then can keep on top of it, and make sure he's completing/ handing his assignments in.
