Overall I'd say it has been excellent given the limited resources they have at their disposal

I am a concerned parent, this school has no communications skills and lack of patience when dealing with children.

Front office staff are the rudest women I have ever dealt with. Principal is never there, I see him all the time picking up his kid from the middle school. Some teachers are wonderful, some not so great. No air conditioning in most of the school, I had to pick up my kid twice last year because of the heat. The teacher my kid had this year would only use the fan on herself because "kids are younger and can tolerate heat better". As for parent involvement, I signed up for everything and was only contacted once to help out. So, it's the school that isn't contacting parents to be involved when we are willing to do so. There are major bullying going on in this school. The principal overlooks it because his kid and the secretary's kid are involved in the bullying. Horrible school, would definately NOT recommend this school to anyone! Alot of people I talked to are moving this year because of the poor leadership and test scores at this school. Good Luck if you have to go here.

Does well considering high class sizes, low parent participation and lack of resources the district gives them. Many great teachers who try hard to help. Parents should know only a small section of the building had air. It still runs on a boiler which acts up. Playground is spacious but could use some updated equipment.

Poor performance in all areas. Front office staff is rude and shows no human compassion. Assistants for special needs students need a course in how to be a positive roll model on a daily basis in these children's lives. I would not recommend this school to any parent nor any teacher that may want to work there. There are some great teachers but for the most part, the district should think about getting some new staff.
