The teachers take a real interest in each student as an individual and they focus on finding fun and interesting ways to help them learn. They do a great job emphasizing project based learning and the students play a huge part in helping to decide projects they would like to work on. The students are actually excited to go to science class, to work on their projects!

Peregrine has been a second home for my daughter for the last 10 years. Here she has been allowed to safely explore the world, and establish her place in it. She's been introduced to Hinduism,Hobbes vs. Lockeian theory, Don Quixote, percentages, healthy eating, climate change and photosynthesis to name a few topics. The teachers know and respect children and the child's voice, intelligence. In turn, the child develops a love of learning, and a keen sense of who they are. I appreciate the teachers and administration for creating this special nurturing environment.

Kept my daughter at this school in elementary (she was there for preschool) despite Davis having highly-regarded public schools. It's been worth it. Moderate class sizes, very strong science and arts, and exceptional teaching staff set Peregrine apart.
