I have had 2 children in this school. My oldest child started this school in 4th grade and the bullying was the worst I have ever seen. This child has attempted suicide twice and has been in counseling on medication since 4th grade. The principal and counselor never really addressed the bullying because they said the things that were happening were inappropriate but not defined as bullying. She is now going into the 9th grade - I will also be giving the Middle School a bad review. I have been told by several teachers that the only way to avoid bullying like this besides home schooling is to move out of this county. Children are a product of how they are raised and in the 5 years we have lived in Dallas, GA we haven't met that many stand up people that have school aged children.

I'm a proud parent for 8 years!!!! The staff and teachers go above and beyond for the students. There are not too many elementary schools in Paulding that focus on the children and their success. Dallas Elementary exemplifies student achievement and success. Parents need to be more involved so the ratings will increase.

Front office staff is unwelcoming and rude! Teachers are great and really have a passion for teaching.

Not bad, but not great. very good experiences with the principal and most of staff. Front office people were unwelcoming a few times, but overall the staff are friendly. Wondering why they only have a 3 for score.

This is not a review, but questions for parents or the school staff. Why is the great schools score a 3 out of a 10? That's the lowest in the entire district. Is it solely based on test scores? And if so, is the special needs program included with the other test scores? Some schools do that, which is completly fine, but it does effect the averages and parents need to know that. Also, is there additional parking besides that extremely tiny parking lot? What happens when there are events? Where is it appropriate to park? I'm not trying to be overly critical, but this is where my children will be attending and I am a bit concerned about such a low score.

My kids school is AWESOME!!!! The teachers have a passion to help them learn and the class sizes are average. The special education and gifted teachers are wonderful and have a sense of understanding. I am so happy that my kids are in such a great school, they have truly excelled with teacher assistance and the allowance to be themselves.

Thiswas our sons first year and we had a fantastic teacher. I was very happy with the administrators and other teachers that I met. Everyone was always ready to help and they had strong programs available to any parent who wished to become involved. There was not a strong parent involvement but it was not because the school did not push for it. Thanks to Dallas Elementary for giving our son a great start in his education.
