The principal and staff here are in desperate need of professional skills in dealing with the parents and issues that arise. Mr. Wilder has a history of parent interactions that has led to unhappy experiences. He was very short tempered with me when I asked him to help with my special needs daughter getting access to scissors and cutting her hair repeatedly. The office staff is very rude and the teachers that I have worked with are very unenthusiastic about their job.

This used to be a great school. 5 years ago I loved it. The area was nice and the school was such a refreshing bonus. Fast forward a few years and the area is not as nice and this school is not nearly as good as it was. My child has had a few bullying issues, and I don’t feel like the situations were handled well and was very disappointed in what happened after I made the principal and teacher aware. The learning isn’t as good as it used to be either. The teachers are basically baby sitters and spend most of their time during the day telling kids to stop acting up. Discipline at home isn’t what it used to be so it’s not all the schools fault for that. The school does offer quite a bit of after school activities and clubs. The PTA has put on a lot of activities for the kids. All the schools in this district are over capacity and the districts solution is to build a new middle school. There are trailers in the front yards of a lot of the schools and it looks so trashy. Paulding county itself is becoming way too overpopulated and we don’t have the school capacity to hold all the kids coming in. Instead of adding onto the schools we already have we are just building another school. I’m really disappointed with how this area has turned out. The schools suffer when there are so many kids and nowhere for them to go.

I was a parent who was mortified at the thought of my children attending public school, for personal reasons. Not to mention, the first baby going to school, leaving home. I now have two students at Roberts. Both have attended since kindergarten. Now, 3rd, & 1st grade. I will say, Mrs. Rainwater, & Mrs. Denney are the best teachers in the world! They made the biggest difference in my children's education. They have gone over and beyond. I could never show enough gratitude to them. We have yet to have a teacher that wasn't amazing. Principal Wilder is amazing. From the office, the nurse, lunchroom, .. honestly, they couldn't be better. I gained a family with our school. I can't sing their praises enough. Looking forward to a great '22-'23 school year!!

Overall great experiences so far. Lots of fun and learning, even for the children who hate coming to school. When I moved to Georgia in 4th grade I was surprised at how strict and devoid of fun my school was compared to my California city school. I do not feel that Roberts elementary has the same strict, sterile feel. It’s a very cheery environment and the 5 or so teachers we have encountered thus far seem to promote a fun learning environment. My children also love economics day at the end of the year - it’s the last day of school where after having spent about a month keeping their behavior in check in order to keep “money” on their “credit cards,” all the classrooms become themed shops and the kids get to spend whatever money is left on their cards. My children come home with their nails done, faces painted, temporary tattoos, used books, toys and trinkets, jewelry, and treats. What a fun way to end the school year!

C.A. Roberts Elementary School The teachers are wonderful! I haven't had a lot of interaction with the Principal or administration but both of my kids loved their teachers. This school of course focuses on teaching and learning but they also don't forget that kids need to have fun. The previous school we attended in Bartow County focused so much on learning that my kids didn't like school. There was hardly any fun incorporated in with the teaching. We love Roberts and the rating should definitely be higher than a 6.
