My child has been a student here the last three years and it’s been a disappointing experience to say the least. Counselor will make you feel like she is on your team and trying to help, but then report you to DFCS without warning. One teacher complained to me that the students were making her want to drink. Administrators are not welcoming. Drop off and pick up are not done in an efficient way whatsoever. Teachers and staff are rude. The teachers even send home lists of what they like as gifts, which I’ve never seen at any other school. If your child has ADHD, they expect you to just medicate them. No one can actually work with them. I look forward to the day my child starts Osborne Middle and we no longer have to deal with Fort Daniel Elementary.

Highly recommend Fort Daniel. Teachers and Staff truly care about the kids and their overall well-being. Teachers stay in constant communication regarding your kids academic progress or concerns. The school does a great job at encouraging parents to join PTA and be involved in school activities. Dr. Tucker is a great principal and very involved in every school event. As parents, it is our responsibility to ensure that our kids are progressing academically and that we communicate with the teachers proactively. I also feel that the school cares about the safety of our children, they are in constant communication if a bus is running late (rare) and always communicate through the parent portal. Overall my experience has been great, but I am also a very involved parent in my child’s school academics. I highly recommend Fort Daniel as a great school.

Dr. Tucker is an awful principal and the school continues to go downhill under her leadership or lack thereof. She is not in education for the right reasons. I would expect the schools performance and experience to continue to decline. We will not let our child go back there next year.

This school is exemplary, and so is the administration and teachers. We moved to the area years ago and watched the school’s performance to determine if we wanted to send our children. Our children are excelling there. A principal from another Georgia school district initially referred us to the school. It feels like family. It is an absolute joy to be there. Our kids are very well prepared for the future. Thank you Fort Daniel for the amazing community you’ve created.

Every thing about this school is great. I have never seen teachers that genuinely care like the ones we have had a Fort Daniel. There are no concerns about safety like there were at her old school (Rosebud Elementary in Loganville). The principal is great, and very involved - without being overbearing or "scary". Our Daughter is getting an amazing education, while enjoying the school she is at. You can ask for anything more than that!Top notch in every way!

This is not the school for children with learning differences. If you have a child that can learn by sitting in a classroom and absorb all of the required coarse materials. This is a great place to be. If your child is even slightly out of the realm of this style of learning, this is NOT the place for you. This school is not designed to handle any child with significant reading/writing/spelling/ or math difficulties as diagnosed by a licensed professional. If you have children with these learning styles, get a IEP and get to another learning establishment, public or private. On the flip side, the PTA is great in this school. Many great things happen there because of the parent involvement in PTA. They work very hard to keep costs low. Reiterating, If you have any learning difference needs, you need to consider another county school system.

This school is the BEST school in Gwinnett County and in my opinion in all of GA! The teachers are amazing and the the parents involvement is the best I have ever seen. Mr, Willis, the principal, is is absolutely fantastic with the kids. They all do so much for our kids and treats them as though they are all one big family. The kids here are all eager to learn and help each other out. Fort Daniels sincerely cares about their students and does everything within their power to help them succeed. We are so blessed to be part of this community with such a wonderful school.

After much debate and hopes of putting my children in a private school, it was not in our plan for several reasons. As a parent, we want the absolute best for our children! I am so thankful we were able to buy a house in this school district for the purpose of Fort Daniel! It is good to see so much involvement, and still have a conservative public school. I happen to be an incredibly busy parent, and it's unfortunate that I am unable to attend all the school functions. However, I know my children are in wonderful hands of all the amazing support staff, teachers, and other parents which are able to partake! It's an answered prayer that I will continue to be grateful for:)

This school is the best elementary school in Gwinnett. I know this because my other kids have been in other elementary schools and this one is more personable and has very good teachers. The principal is always interacting with the children and you see him at EVERY function talking to everyone. They keep you informed about all the activities and material going on in the school. LOVE THIS SCHOOL!

To the parent worrried about security from the trailers, not to worry my children were exposed to trailers and after awhile I know they were in good hands. It was the teachers and the admins presence during transition that ease my worry on visits. Just a superior school!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this school! Ever since Mr. Willis (principal) has taken over, it has been a great school to be at. The kids love him and parents too. He is a kid at heart but also very responsible and gets the job done. I've had 2 kids go through this school and 2 more that go there now and I would recommend it. The teachers are great and I do have one son that gets extra help and those ladies are amazing!
