I meet wonderful teachers and staff members who are passionate for teaching us students new ideas and skills that we could use later in our career overall I recommend this school you will meet wonderful teachers and friends

The bullying is a huge problem! Some of the staff make it very clear they do not like the diversity and are not welcoming to the minority kids. I pray future parents take a stand against this. 3 bombs threats already aimed specifically at African American kids. Teachers not all but some were not sensitive to this.

I have a son who had difficulty with Math. He started to 6th grade this year. He likes doing Math now and is good at math .He also likes all teachers and classes. As a Parent I wanted to thank all staff to support our kids.

My daughter of 12 years goes to Mccord middle school and recently she fell because she tripped on one of the stones on the floor. After that she needed serious healthcare, and we dont have insurance. THIS SCHOOL IS NOT SAFE KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE.

Both of my boys experienced bullying issues at McCord. Most of the problems took place on the bus, but there were some issues in the classroom as well. The administration claims to have a zero-tolerance for bullying, but there was very little done for my boys, or any of their friends who had similar problems. In the end, I had to remove my kids from the bus in order to ease the problem. That being said, the classes offered were challenging and definitely prepared them for the next level. Most of the teachers are pretty great, but as in most schools there were a few who seemed to have little interest in teaching and were more focused on just accumulating their time for retirement or playing on their cell phones. Both of my boys are now attending high school in a different district and have thankfully not experienced the same bullying issues we had at McCord.
