Our daughter is at HVA in the primary class. We have been so pleased with the administration, the board, the teachers, and the other families. It is truly a school family. Our daughter has been so embraced and nurtured during her time there. The primary teachers are excellent, and the parents are all very involved. We finally feel like we have control over the quality of our daughter's education!

My nephew is a student in the upper elementary school and he raves about how much he enjoys his school. I will say that the smaller classes and the familial relationship among students, staff, and parents is quite refreshing. It's not just a school it's a village, and as we all know it takes a village to raise a child!

The loving environment that welcomes my daughter to school every morning is very comforting. She's learned so much in the year she's been enrolled. I'm most appreciative of the curriculmn when we're walking outside and when she sees a butterfly she's able to explain its' life cycle, or when she tells me "I can do it by myself", or as she reads a book and is able to sound out the words, or when she's figuring out addition. The list goes on and on.

I have had my children at Henson Valley for four years now and I love it! It is not a school that has bells and whistles, but it is a school that's a community. If you are looking for a school that is going to give your child an educational experience where learning is exciting, HVA is the place for you! If you are looking for a place where your child will be a part of a community and families take care of each other, HVA is the place for you! I have looked at the competition and there is no place around for the price that affords you quality education and security. You will not find a place like HVA! My family and I love it!

This Montessori school allows each child to grow and become the lifelong learner each is meant to be. The teachers monitor each child closely and provide excellent lessons and opportunities for growth. The staff is professional and dedicated. Parents are active in maintaining a sense of community. It is a great place for kids and families!

The one testament I can say about Henson Valley Academy, and perhaps Montessori overall, is that my children have thrived. They have very different learning styles, but this program allows them to foster their skills and learn in ways that make sense to them. HVA adds that much more to Montessori; it provides an environment that is loving, and kind, and diverse- things the world needs more of! I'm really proud of the "Global Ambassadors" my children are becoming by spending their days at Henson Valley. My only wish is that we can someday grow into needing our own facility, so we can really take this little school to the moon!!!

My two children attend HVA and we love our little school! The classrooms are small and seems tailored made for our children. The teachers are wonderful and always available when my husband and I have questions. On top of having a wonderful curriculum, HVA is a family. It takes a village to raise a child and I am proud to call our village Henson Valley Academy. If you are looking for a Montessori school in PG County that is affordable and does not skip on quality, HVA is the place for your family. BTW our school is now on Woodyard Rd in Clinton MD.

I am very impressed with the head of school, the teachers, and staff at Henson Valley! We've been with the school for about two years now, and both of my children are in attendance. The vision presented to the parents, is one that I buy in to, and am impressed with the global perspectives being brought to the kids through the Model UN, class trips, and other activities. It is very satisfying watching my kids take on a level of independence, and dedication to learning because of what they are learning at HVA. I continue to have high expectations of this school and its leadership!

Henson Valley Academy (HVA) is a wonderful school! My child has attended HVA for four years now, and next year we will have our other child attend the school as well. The students receive an above average education, the staff is amazing and the parents are heavily involved. The school is a close knit unit where the staff adapts to each child's needs. We love the Montessori environment and what our child has received from it. We highly recommend this school to anyone seeking a close community, a smaller teacher to student ratio, and high academic standards.

Awesome experience! My almost 4 year old is thriving at Henson Valley Montessori. The teachers, administrative team and head of school are top notch and are genuinely invested in our children. Your child will receive attentive, individualized instruction for a very reasonable tuition rate. The school is small and the families are warm and welcoming. Truly a hidden gem in PG county.

An amazing school!! Both my children have attended--both are very diffeent learners but the staff adapts to each child's learning style and continues to push and challenge them to reach their highest potential. When my oldest transitioned to HS...she tested into all Honors/AP. And the parent community is very close knit & suppotive...as a Military family, this made all the difference through deployments. Must visit to truly get the 'feel.' *Now in Clinton, by Andrews AFB!
