Ive circled Grace in many ways and wearing many hats....student, coach, support staff, teacher....and there have been many waves of the versions of the school that Ive seen. What has not changed, however, is the consistency in having high standards for both students and teachers, the drive to keep the academics a step above in all subjects, and a common baseline of using the Bible as a guide in everything. There have been correct steps and missteps but I stand by the students and staff here 100% as a positive and productive group of people that will continue to make a huge impact. Recent years have seen huge growth in the athletic programs, extra-curricular support, and technology integration.

I am very pleased with our experience at Grace Brethren. My children are beginning their second year and I couldn't be more excited. This school provides my children with not only an excellent education, but they take the time to truly nature.

The teachers at Grace has played a sufficient role in my sons maturity. It takes a village to raise a child and Grace Brethren has been part of our village.

This school is great because of how great the education and work habitat's are great! The price is high because its worth it. Also the kids carrythemselves very fine and it is only my 1st year.

This school is awful. They present a wonderful family atmosphere, but it screams of nepotism. Every faculty member has 4/5 kids that go to the school and those kids wreak havoc on the other kids. There is no fairness nor accountability. The kids whose parents don't teach at the school are afraid to speak out because they feel like they will be targets. I pulled my child out with three weeks to go in the school year, because a child lunged at and grabbed her purse, she pushed him away and hit him with a three piece. This was all captured on video and they did nothing. She was suspended and we were told the child that instigated it, was just horse playing. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me. I accepted her suspension because she did hit him, but to tell me that his horse play which instigated the incident was not a mitigating factor in him being hit and nothing happened to him was more than I could stand. If you want your child to get a fair shake and go to a good school, this is certainly not the one. Do you children a favor and sent them somewhere else. Cause if they are not part of the clique, they are going to be in for a long agonizing school year.

My Daughter attended GBCS and she loves it she in the Prk program and she loves the enviroment and the teachers. Looking over all the other reviewes to me the school isnt about money and you have to remember it does take money to run a private school. If you didnt want to spend it you can put your child in public schools and let the county use your money for casinos and other items that are not good for our young children in this community. Overall for me i will continue to send my daughter to this school and make that sacrifice for my child to get a quality and christian based education.

Pros: -Excellent curriculum -Teacher/administration communication is great -Before/After care is reasonable and the staff are loved by the kids. -School safety Cons: -Price of registration. It would be nice to have a discount given to returning students. -Elementary school teachers don't understand though it's a private school the younger students are kids and not college students. There have been times when the teacher is too hard on the kids and the parents have complained, including myself. -Focus is more on middle/high school students. I haven't seen much offered to the elementary students outside of soccer. -More parent involvement would be nice Registration Fees: $150 application per child w/ max of $440 per family Acad/Activity Fee K3-K4 $155 K5 $205 Grades 1-5 $230 Grades 6-8 $245 Grades 9-12 $260 Tuition Fee: K3 Grade 5 $7695 Grades 6 8 $7895 Grades 9 12 $8195

I like to describe the school in two way, (1) the environment is learn through mistakes and punishment and (2) if your child doesn't fit the mold they will be weeded out. I would not recommend this school to anyone because at the end of the day the complete atmosphere needed to educate and raise a child is not one condusive to produce the idea citizen. Parent involvement was NOT encouraged

I have been attending GBCS since K4 and am now in 9th grade. The teachers show test the students to the best of their abilities. I have shown interests in many subjects that I did not appreciate until now. I have also shown interests in sports and made many friends. Overall this school is safe, a good learning environment, and a great school.

I am impressed with GBCS. Staff & teachers are friendly, know almost every kid; at least by sight, & as an involved parent I see many great things. However, I have noticed more students who are more "public school" behaviorally; exhibit poor work ethic and speak & act in ways which made public school education distressing for my child. When the bell rings classes are focused on learning. I have complimented many students who are, in my opinion, future leaders & successes on their professional behavior & excellent communication & social skills. The downside about the school is the fees. I understand that a school runs on tuition, but the myriad fees are nonsensical. Renewal fees were over $600 for two children; e.g. reapplication fee (a four page application: updated contract, emergency contact page & declaration of tuition payment method $150 each.) Then more fees for activating payment plan & all non-refundable if for any reason kids can't attend next year such as job transfer. But if not paid early no guarantee of seat. Also students starting late (1/2 yr) pay same full fees, no pro-ration. Even some staff were astonished! Please rethink the fee structure.

This is my daughter's first year as an eight grader at GBCS and she absolutely love it! She previously attended a public school so it took a little time for her to get acclimated. With missing old classmates and friends she found only negative things to say. After about 2 months, I only hear great things about her new school. She has absolutely no regrets with the transition. I find that my daughter is doing very well academically as public school students are usually a tab behind. This is due to the fact that the teachers really work with the students and provide the tools they need to excel. I decided to enroll my daughter at this school because of the positive feed back from other parents of kids who also attend. My daughter was always an honor roll student, but as she entered middle school (6th & 7th grade) things started to go downhill. I'm so glad we made the decision to enroll her in this school as we honestly have not had to deal with peer pressure or lack of interest as we did with her previous school. It's truly a blessing! Thank you so much GBCS. I look forward to a new year as she enters high school.
